Review The Coconut On T - Sacramento

Great stop for dinner when meeting our nephew! It's in a cute neighborhood on a not too busy street. The food is amazing! All was good: pot stickers, fresh rolls, yellow curry avocado chicken, cashew chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the chicken pad Thai! Also, their brown rice is amazing... Excellent choice for a family dinner.

Cute place, evening lights are pretty, nice outdoors seating. Friendly service. Food favors are heavy, strong sweetness. Cheese Wontons' filings were sweet. I personally prefer dry drunken noodles. It has too much sauce. beef and veggies are cut into very small pieces. My husband tho enjoyed the sweet.

the food was very tasty, I also really liked that the flowers were real (live), but inside the interior was cheap, the tables were a little dirty, and they gave us a fork in which there was old rice. I would like to put 5 stars, but the shortcomings need to be corrected, and the food turned out to be great, very tasty, bow to the chef! But they cooked for a long time, really very 🥺

I have started to really enjoy this place. It’s kinda small and well worn but the Food is pretty good. i personally think the drunken noodle are way better than the Pad Thai, the Thai fried rice is also amazing however I did not like their potstickers.

Found Coconut on T via yelp. They have a yelp check in for a $2 beer (blonde pale ale) and it is not good. Do not do it haha. Food wise, was fine. -beef pad see ew -shrimp pad thai Staff is friendly. They have a few benches outside so you can bring your dogs. Street parking only.

Bery good prices for the amount and quality of food. Highly recommended food will fill most people up with left overs to bring back for most.

Place is good. Decent seating, Inside and outside. Make sure you get the latest menu. My friend didn't have "avacado rolls" on his menu card but I had it on mine, which was also the best Thai appetizer I have ever had. Drunken noodles were a bit bland. Felt the chef missed an important ingredient which made it taste that way because the reviews were apparently good. Pad Thai was tasty. I ordered medium spicy for both. Plenty of vegan options. Thai tea and coffee were upto standards.

The food is amazing, so affordable. I’ve tried many different Thai restaurants in the area and this one is the best. Can’t beat the cheap beer special..

Came here for lunch and enjoyed the Drunken Noodles and a Thai tea. The food was very good, the tea was fine, and the fall weather was perfect for eating outside. They were advertising $2 beers so next time I might see what they have available. My lunch companions enjoyed the Larb, Tom Yum soup, and both the red and green curries. The serving sizes were big and shareable if that is the route you prefer to go.

The experience at The Coconut on T was wonderful! The staff here are very friendly and accommodating as we celebrated a birthday here. Excellent food - large portions to share. We ordered Thai tea, chicken panang curry, chicken drunken noodles, pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice. All dishes tasted with quality. I would recommend this place to other visitors to Sacramento like myself.

This casual Thai restaurant has great food. I had the wontons and green avocado curry, which were both very yummy. They have a cute outdoor area and easy street parking. I also like this neighborhood in general. I’ll be coming back!

Another amazing dining experience at Coconut on T. Great Thai flavors and food quality. Always comes out fast and hot! Check into Yelp when you are there and get the $2 beer special of the day. Service is fast and friendly. Restaurant is clean. Even the table water is served with mint! Love eating here. Prices are very reasonable and portion size is large. Everything on the menu is good!

The smells coming from this restaurant will draw you in before you even go inside. The portions and huge, the food is tasty, and staff was superb. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Takeout is also a great option. I'd go back in a heart beat and will recommend as a thai restaurant downtown. Did i mention they can veganify the majority of the menu? Yassss.

Small restaurant with street parking. Has outdoor dining. Food and service are excellent! Ordered the fried calamari, drunken noodles and chicken pot pie.

We got here about 15 minutes before closing and they were kind enough to make our meals which we enjoyed at their outdoor seating. It is beautifully shaded outside the restaurant and plenty of seating was available. The food was delicious, and fresh. We had plenty leftover. Enjoy this spot!

Amazing Thai food and great selection of beer. They close from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, but when they open back up at 4:30 they have happy hour prices for appetizers and beer for people dinning in. They do not do happy hour prices for take out. I personally get the red curry and my girlfriend really likes the avocado curry. Their entrees are also very good and big enough to share with another person. Staff is very friendly and they always remember us.

The generous portion combined with affordable prices, and a solid selection makes it the perfect place to enjoy some Thai food and have some leftovers for tomorrow. Only point of improvement is to relax a little on the fish sauce ;).

I have to admit on a drive by I was a bit afraid to go in. I did go in because I was with friends who liked it. To my surprise they were right as usual. Don’t judge a book by the cover. As far as furnishing and ambiance I took a star off. They need to put some curtains or fabrics on the walls to cut down the noise cause they are busy. When we came in we were seated by the door. It was a very cold night and every time the door would open from the busy crowd we were going to be blown into the kitchen with a Artic air. Lucky for us we asked to be moved. Once we were in our new location we were lucky enough to be in Sebastian’s area. Everyone should be so lucky. Sebastian comes off as quite shy but he knows his trade. We didn’t have to ask for extra napkins or to go boxes he anticipated us asking. I’ve never heard of refills on Thai ice tea but that as well would make me go back and visit again. We started our meal off with the calamari and pot stickers. We went on to round two of calamari and thought about 3rds. The pot stickers are finished off with perfect toasted garlic. Perfect finishing Touch to that dish. The rest of the dishes were just as tasty. I look forward to another visit.

Last night (Saturday), there were 26 people on our dinner party! ? Reason for ok dinner despite the 4.5 rated reviews!! Salads were good. The sticky sweet rice w mango were tasty!! Praham chicken & bbq chicken were ok but dry! Not much flavor because sliced chicken were not marinated but the peanut sauce was Praham and spicy sweet vinegar was the BBQ sauce!!! Not much calamari in appetizers dish. Not too impressed!

I love the new location, it's roomy and comfortable. The menu is the same which is great why fix it if it ain't broke. The service is good and the food delicious and reasonably priced. Now if we can just keep the hipster doofus's from finding this place it will be perfection. Oh, I almost forgot some decent beer and wine at a decent price.

Delicious food and great prices. The location is great. I had a fresh roll with peanut sauce and a tasty barbecue chicken dish. Not like American barbeque. But similar to sweet and sour sauce. I also had real dark brown rice and the plate was loaded with fresh vegetables. My husband and I were shocked when we got the check. The price was very good! I recommend it to everyone who loves Thai food.

The food was really good! They were busy Friday so the service was a little slow, we had ordered food before 2 other tables and they got their food before we did. Ugh and another I thing I didn't like was the waitress telling us that we had ordered a lot of food. We wanted to try a few things. So we ordered! Let us be the judge if it's too much or not.

Cute spot, good parking, reasonable prices, large portions, screaming good food, friendly workers & bottomless Thai tea. Need I say more?! I'll definitely be going back. Also, they give you a card and once you fill it w/10 dishes ordered, you get your 11th dish free!

Very impressed with this restaurant. My husband and I went there with one of his college friends who was in town and had eaten there before. It was our first time. The food was exceptional especially the eggplant with shrimp. Definitely will return to The Coconut On The T very soon!

The best Thai food that I've ever eaten! Basil Vegetables & Yellow Curry, so delicious,... Right, Michael David Smithers?
Monica Rojas
One of my favorite restaurants! The food is awesome. Very friendly hosts and servers. Can't really accommodate large parties. They can only do 2 payment cards per table, which is really inconvenient for large parties. Otherwise, is the best!

Food is generously portioned and tasted great and with $2 Corona draft... for sure I'd go back and recommend others too.
