My husband and I decided to have a picnic at Lake Tahoe. So, on the advice of a dear friend, we went to Corti Brothers to pick up a couple of deli sandwiches! We stood in what we thought was a line to order our food. WRONG. A kind man that I was standing next to informed me that we had to write our sandwich order down on these little order forms and place it in this dish. I felt stupid, but at least now I know! There were quite a lot of people there for sandwiches too! This is definitely one of the best places to get good sandwiches! They have really fresh ingredients and use a lot of meat. I got a BLT and my husband got a turkey and cheese. We were very impressed. Their wine selection is pretty awesome, so I did choose one to bring home. I really like this store and I'll be visiting again in the near future!!!

The best old school Italian market! I can find things here that my girlfriend in SF cannot find in North Beach! The Corti Special sandwich is amazing and such a deal. Expect to pay for quality here, but lots of local specialty products, great selection of cheeses, wines and fresh gourmet produce

Best quality and selection in Sacramento (if not in all of California). I used to shop here on occasion but realized that if I didn’t buy so much junk on Amazon we could eat the best quality food every day. I now stop here three times a week and buy the freshest meats, seafood, vegetables, herbs and cheeses available. (Better than anywhere including our local Farmers’ Market or the Food Coop). With quality ingredients and simple recipes we enjoy restaurant quality food ant home every day. I’ve purchased exceedingly expensive 100 year old balsamic vinegar and I add a few drops to various dishes to elevate them even further. The employees here are experts who love their jobs; they will give you advice and recommendations—just ask. As far as the wait (that some folks complain about), yes, maybe you will have to wait a few minutes—plan accordingly. ‘Fast’ rarely equates to ‘delicious’. And if you don’t appreciate quality or can’t taste the difference… well then, don’t shop here.

20 years before Traders Joe's existed, Corti Brothers opened their doors with the finest meats / deli / cheeses / wines / etc and the years have gone by the Top Shelf Quality and Service have not changed. When I dream of a sandwich, I dream of Parma Prosciutto from Corti Brothers; 2nd to None. Ravioli sold by the box just like it was when I lived in Italy in 1998.

A Sacramento treasure! Some of the best groceries you’ll find in town! They have a wide selection of meats and cheeses and olives. They have a lot of food do you want find anywhere else. They also make the best sandwiches in town! I highly suggest getting the Corti special it’s less than nine bucks and it’s a meal for two! They also have a great wine selection and a Somalia on standby to help you find that perfect wine.

This is in a way stepping back in time to personal service, and a great feel to the store. The deli counter is alive and bustling, help is friendly and fast moving and you can talk to others waiting to be served. Order a sandwich ahead on line, they are amazing and enough for two meals. Lots of special Italian foods as can be expected and just a little better t of everything else too. The staff are great and helpful, there is nothing else like it in the Sacramento area. If you want an experience, just stop in and order a sandwich and watch the hustle. I love this place!

Love this old deli from 1949. So many specialty and imported items, a great butcher & deli. It's pricey, (comparable with Nugget Markets) but a must every once in a while for me. My favorite is the Veggie sandwich with bacon! Amazing!

JUST ORDER THE SANDWICHES ONLINE IT'S THAT MUCH EASIER. Also, great place for teas and oils ngl. There are a lot of other high end things but I haven't really checked them out. Overall, place can be crowded during lunch time as everyone is trying to get sandwiches
