Beyond incredible!! We came in last week the night before my birthday and our server made excellent recommendations - I tried the salmon special with garlic chili oil and rice with plantains - I cannot speak highly enough of this dish!!! Insanely good!!! My husband got one of the pork dishes our server said is his favorite. Delicious! And the margaritas were perfect. Wish we had found this place sooner, highly recommend!

Cute place on the corner. Service was decent. Went for happy hour. Drinks were on point!! Had the carnita tacos. 3 for $10. Good just a lil fatty. Sliders with the pickled onions were yummy. Happy hour is 3-6pm

This was our first time here. Absolutely incredible food. So flavorful,authentic & the presentations were spot on.
Our server Richard was wonderful. He did an amazing Job. We were ordering a lot of different dishes and appetizers and special requests and he handled them all with ease or at least he made it all look easy. Always smiling and engaging us with light conversation.
I would easily give this restaurant 10+ stars ⭐️ if possible.
Clean restrooms. Very nice outdoor patio seating. Small back lot where they have valet parking for a small fee except on Tuesday nights then it’s just free parking.
We got to chat with one of the Chiefs (Juan) very nice gentleman. He was telling us that they make their Mole ,which by the way was also incredibly tasty & authentic, fresh every day.

Probably one of the best restaurants in downtown Sacramento. Everything they make is amazing! Both of the pork dishes and the carne asada are absolutely delicious. Come here if you really want to treat yourself!
*update* came for happy hour recently and really enjoyed their menu! Almost everything was 7$ including the drinks, but if you want that deal make sure you like tequila because other than beers, your only options are a plain margarita, Mexican mule or paloma

Best Tamarind margarita O have ever had. Everything from the house salsa to the Chicken mole enchiladas were amazing! Also had the pork shoulder tamales! The service was impeccable as well as the food. Would highly recommend! And will be back again!

Im from Texas and wanted to try the mole enchiladas and the chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce so they created a plate and it was great. Place has a great vibe and awesome drinks. It’s not Texas Mexican food but y’all still deserve a 5 star.

YES!! My colleagues and I stopped in for happy hour before our dinner reservaat another place. So I can't speak to the food, although the menu is tempting! The drinks...A+! That pink bubblegum shot was large & gave me extra spunk! 😅😆

Fun place. Warm day, but they had abundant tables open outside as well as inside. We ate outside. They're located across from a park, very nice. Enchilada mole and burrito/taco, all extremely delicious. Excellent service.

Wow! We had a wonderful dinner last night at Centro Cocina Mexicana. We enjoyed a wonderful appetizer, compliments of chef Fidel Lopez, did a little tequila tasting and had a delicious dinner. I had fish and shrimp tacos and Tom had a chorizo burrito. And then a chocolate lava cake for dessert. Such a treat! Thank you to Chef Fidel for the delicious dinner!

While there are two other favorite hangouts for Mexican cuisine in my immediate neighborhood, we took a little trip across town and were not disappointed. Although my other two favorites dish up consistently good Mexican food, I would say without hesitation that CENTRO prepares truly authentic specialties, the flavors, textures and seasonings of which conjure up fond memories of food I've consumed in Mexico's heartland or was fortunate enough to enjoy by invitation to a Mexican family's home. The presentation of the dishes at Centro is flawless, and the entire experience was enjoyable. Our server Tony was fantastic and took time to answer all our questions about various items on the menu. I like the limited but well organized outdoor seating in front of the restaurant which affords good people watching amid the din of traffic right around the cornet from the Sutter medical complex, a convenient location. I am looking forward to our next as well as all future visits!

Absolutely delicious and authentic food from different regions. Our waiter gave us the best service ever and he was so knowledgable! He explained all the different regions and how each dish was cooked! And it was all delicious but, their Chalupas are the bomb! This is my new favorite restaurant!

Not sure what happened here but I use to love this place. I think they changed cooks. Guacamole was incredibly spicy and my tostadas’ mole was completely different. Arnold Palmer was still the best around! Bring back the chef!!!

We had a great time here the other night! Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Bar food was really tasty, reasonably priced, and we enjoyed trying some of the uniquely infused drinks. I especially enjoyed the jalapeño margarita - we’d certainly go back.

Great margaritas. Very, very poor service. Took 40 min after we ordered to get a drink....and we were sitting in the bar seating area. Took over an hour to get dinner. �

I have bees eating here for 15 years. Stopped in today and it took 10 minutes before anyone talked to us, the waitress walked but our table several times. Then we finally order and it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We had three different servers but our drinks empty. After the food arrived we didn't even see anyone until we were done then the chips showed up.... terrible service and terrible personalities as well. Very disappointed

What has happen to the Centro's I use to know? Service was great. Some of the cuisine was hard, and dry. if you need parking its now $5..on Fri, Sat, Sun best to use the street. You can't see the menu in there way too dark.

Last night was Sinco DiMaio and it was jammed pack it was noisy but the food was absolutely delicious congratulations we love it The Carnitas Sada is my favorite plate not too greasy but just delicious as heck thank you for a great night last night and making sure everybody was safe and thanks to the police officers for last night everybody was having a good time on Cinco de DiMaio!

This was our first visit and wow, the food was amazing. Everything we tried seemed to one-up everything we've had elsewhere. Even the chips and salsa and guacamole was better than any place I've been in this city. We didn't plan this visit; it was a total impulse decision, but we loved it and will definitely be back...again and again.
