You can tell everything is made with care. I got the raspberry Danish, and the chocolate croissant. Can get a little busy in the morning.....but most certainly worth the wait!
We've been customers of Freeport Bakery for years (the fruit tart is my husband's go-to "birthday cake"; the shadow fresa is his sister's favorite) and made the excellent decision to order our wedding cake and dessert bar through them, for our wedding at Scribner Bend on 6/10/2023.

The vegan chocolate fudge cake is my weakness! I have a dairy allergy so it's wonderful to have this delicious cake as an option! My family just ordered another one for my birthday last week 🤤 amazing!

I ordered a 7 inch cake and individual tarts from them for a baby shower. Really great stuff!! I am from out of town so when we were planning this thing, I just went with the reviews. I would've liked to have had a custom cake but since they aren't doing those, I had to go with the options they have

I had 6 hours to come up with a small adult Birthday Cake and all I needed, was 30 minutes. My first, and go-to stop was Freeport Bakery and found just what needed and was walking out with a decorated mission accomplished in just 15 to 20 minutes.
Great little bakery. Got cream puffs, napoleons and chocolate covered biscottis, all great. 👍
Our photographer said our cake was the most beautiful wedding cake she's ever seen. Freeport Bakery has good customer service, and our cake tasted good and looked stunning. There were a few things that could've made our experience better though.
1. They were supposed to set up the cake upon arrival
A true Sacramento landmark. Everything here is delicious. My favorite is a nice slice of Blackout Cake with a tall glass of milk. Highly recommended. Miss savory options like the knish they use to serve. If you need a cake to impress with taste as well as looks, look no further.
I got one of the small two tier cakes for my daughters smash cake for her first birthday. It was delicious! And it wasn't super sugary which I was very worried about. I also got a box of pastries which didn't last long. I will definitely be going back.
