Great atmosphere, with super friendly staff! The food came out pretty quickly and was delicious! Definitely a great place to have lunch or with friends for dinner!

This place is one of my all-time favorite eateries hands down! Plentiful portions, and tasty cuisine at a reasonable price...a winning combination.

Great customer service. Came for my daughter's birthday here. Was not a busy day.
We ordered crispy rolls, papaya salad, tomyum soup, drunken noodles, and stir fry.
Was served with gunters coconut ice cream on the house as it was my daughter's bday.
Except Tom yum everything was awesome the best was drunken noodle. Tomyum was good but could have had more flavors. But the additional sauces helped and I think by default they serve mild version.

My first time eating Thai food, I like it and I enjoyed it. Food was fresh and the service was cool. It`s Summer time and the air-conditioner was not on, not sure if their broke down. But overall I like it. Was good experience. I would take a friend there for sure

I grabbed a lunch special from here. The food itself tasted good, fine, authentic. The red curry with chicken, yum. Comes with a simple salad. Presentation is really lacking though...the bowl was dripping and didn't look like appetizing, and maybe just my preference but the plastic plate made it feel cheap. The prices are definitely not cheap enough to warrant that kind of vibe so I was unimpressed.

If you are gluten free this may not be the place for you. Also if you are soy free. We were still able to get some delicious food though! The fresh rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce we're most and refreshing. For an entree we had the duck Curry and the pineapple Curry with pork. Even at medium heat, they still had a little kick, so much so, our son complained a little! We finished with the mango and sweet rice, nice sweet warm rice with a sprinkle of seasame seeds and very ripe fresh mango! Delicious! I would give five stars but it is hard to find restaurants with good allergen friendly menus. For those without allergies, go for it! The service was fast and friendly too! Would come back, by myself though, as my wife has too many dietary restrictions.

Bangkok@12 is a really nice Thai restaurant! One of downtown’s best. Since we went on New Year’s Eve it was kinda crowded and the service was a bit slower than usual but I think that would be the case anywhere you would go. Food is fresh with good sized portions. Not too big, but not too small. My drunken noodles were a little spicy but delicious. The fried tofu was a bit over cooked (leaning towards burnt side) but again it was a busy night. Wonton soup was great and Pad Thai was as good as ever. Great evening for the family!

I stopped in here for a solo lunch during a weekday. Walked over from the Sheraton Hotel. I ordered their lunch special on the board which was the Mango Red Curry with Shrimp. I also had to get my Thai Iced Tea fix which was perfect on a hot day. The curry was delicious and flavorful. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. Veggies were not overcooked either. The rice was a bit hard, but edible. I let it soak up the curry sauce so that helped. They got me in and out of there pretty quick which was a bonus since I was on a time crunch.
Parking may be challenging since it's located downtown on the corner of 12th and I Street. There's metered parking and garages nearby.

Fast dishes with great flavor and wonderful service. Matched exactly what I wanted in this part of Sacramento due the time constraints of the conference I was attending

I have been going here for many years for lunch. It's one of my favorite dishes here is Pot Tak, which is Thai Seafood soup. It is loaded with squid, fish filet pieces, and shrimp. It also has a lot of mushrooms, onions, basil, and ginger, plus a lot of miscellaneous vegetables. The broth is a sweet and sour taste, but it is neither too sweet nor too sour.
They have a complete menu with extensive lists of appetizers, salads, soups, stir fries, curry dishes, and noodle dishes.
Another note is that they will make it as spicy as you would like. Native Thai food can be very spicy. Hint: if you order spicy Thai food, also order some sticky rice. When eating spicy food, take one bite of spicy food, follow it with a bite of sticky rice. It will cleanse the pallet of the spicy food's capsaicin (which the chemical that makes peppers hot), and it will not burn your mouth when eating spicy Thai Foods.

Food was pretty good, medium spicy was still a bit spicy.

Came at the tail end of lunch hour and got super quick and friendly service. I asked for recommendations, and got the Pad Kra Proa, and it was good! Something different that isn't noodles. Very fresh tasting and came out quickly. Very decent prices.

Came here for dinner before a show at the Community Center, and was pleasantly surprised. The vegetarian fried spring rolls were delicious, as was the vegetarian spicy eggplant. The eggplant was different than what I've had at most other Thai restaurants--it was more of a broth than a sauce--but let me tell you, that broth was DELICIOUS. I could have had a bowl full of the stuff.
I'd definitely come back here again.

The duck curry was mind blowing and the spicy Thai beef salad was full of flavors. If anything I wish I could take this restaurant home with me 😃 service was ok but the food was exactly what I was looking for. Enjoy!!!

A flavorful experience for the senses! Seriously the greatest Thai I ever experienced in all my travels. They'll customize spiciness for their super delicious Pad Thai as well as all their many high quality, mouth watering curry dishes. I crave their signature fresh Mango Shrimp Red Curry often; it's beyond amazing! We'll order for pick up -lunch or dinner. Especially enjoy dining in for an impromptu casual drop in, or bring everyone together for a more formal gathering. Beautiful & elegant atmosphere makes a sweet unforgettable place for that romantic first date.
A MUST experience for anyone visiting the Capital or Downtown Sac area. Be forewarned! Your discernment for nothing but the best will literally have you returning often -no matter how far the distance. Five stars all around each & every time.

We have been to Thai restaurants many times and Bangkok@12 is one of the best places to try authentic Thai food. The staff is as friendly and helpful as possible. If you love Thai food, you should definitely visit this place! You will not regret
