9.16.23: I'm from Reno and drove down the hill to attend a concert at Ace of Spades right next door. Before the show, I met a friend and I decided to eat a lite lunch. It wasn't too busy when we walked in, yet it was steady and seemed to have gotten busier as the evening hit. This place is a seat yourself kind of joint and when you're ready to order you do so at the register and they give you a numbered placard in return to place at your table. I went with a half order of the Fuji Salad, no meat. My friend got the clam chowder bread bowl. We shared an order of the garlic fries. My salad was good and I liked how the sweetness of the apples offset the tangy balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Although it wasn't a San Franciscan chowder bowl, my friend said her soup was pretty good The garlic fries were great, served with diced garlic, and the cook was perfect. I would like to come back and try something else!

I ordered Chorizo burger, so love it. Very delicious. I give it 95/100 scores. My husband ordered a lamb burger, and I have a taste, I give it 70/100 scores. Will come back again and try other burgers.

Late night grub. Food was cooked perfectly and it came quick. Side note. Just because you order at the counter doesn’t mean don’t tip. They still are working hard and splitting gratuity

What a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant!! The seating and comfort of the place was very nice. The photos and history of the place was a nice touch. Many different awards from their brews and I imagine the food too. Well cooked and tasty burgers!! I will definitely eat here again!

Walked by looking for a good vibes and the outdoor lighting intrigued me. When we walked in we were greeted by Dayane, she gave us menus and told us to order at the register when ready. We order the breakfast fries and they are delicious 😋!! Received the best service from Cole at our table also . Will be back!!!

First time here with my daughter and her friend.
It is a pretty good size place and was so busy. Showed up around 6. We got seated immediately. Our drink order was taken right away.
It is a very cozy place.
I ordered the pastrami burger with onion rings and my daughter the hickory cheddar burger with garlic curly fries.
We both really liked the burgers. They were the bomb. The garlic curly fries were amazing. Onions rings hot and crispy.
I would for sure come back.😊😊😊

Not disappointed at all with how the quality of the food, nor the service. Flying into Sacramento and looking for food was tough, and yet my better half mentioned this place and I’m glad she did!
• Environment was chill, yet we sat outside because it was loud inside. Note, we sat outside during a heat wave and it was ~98° at the time (heading towards +100° that day).
• Service, very good service. Yes it’s a go to the bar and order place, they had servers constantly moving around to help where needed.
• Burgers, the burgers were actually good and I can’t complain at all about them. I had the spicy guacamole burger, and my better half had the mushroom burger. We ended up splitting them and they were both very good. Oh, the sweet potato and curly fries were very good!

The food was great, everything came out super quick and they had vegetarian accomodations which was nice. The burgers were really flavourful and had a good amount of toppings but weren't overflowing which was nice. The French Fry Nachos (w/ no meat) we had as an appetizer were great and had a lot of salsa and guacamole on them. The salsa and guacamole were seasoned and rated fresh. They also had really nice fries that were kinda crispy and paired nicely with their ranch.

One of the best places to have a good beer and a great burger in Midtown! This place definitely has its own midtown vibe! Not to mention the service was great! Our Server Lexy was awesome👍🏽 definitely a must if your in midtown!

Very good burgers, on the expensive side. Chili fries had a nice robust chili flavor as well. Friendly staff and goos service. Excellent covered outdoor seating during the pandemic. I would recommend if you are okay with the price.

Customer service was great and the food was decent enough. Great beer selection too! I had the chowder fries (highly recommend) the buffalo burger and sweet potato fries. All pretty decent.

People probably think the only think I eat burgers and I must say their close but this place has another of my favorite things , GOOD ALES . Today I had the half pound bacon and jalapeno cheese burger and a double IPA and Damn what a great combination . I really like the ambiance of this place and the prices are not to bad . Try it I personally think you will like it -!!!!!!-🍔🍟🍺

This is the better location. Excellent customer service. Food was served hot. The food was good. Overall good experience. Only negative would be the men's restroom. Very messy and needed to be cleaned.

Burgers were delicious when we were here, beers were also good. The menu is quite appealing, with a variety of french fry plates that I can't wait to go back for, and plenty of different burgers to try.
I had a pastrami burger which was fantastic. The proportions of everything, especially the sauerkraut, were spot on - nothing was overpowering and I could taste everything (though I would have liked more pastrami, but that's just me). They had garlic curly fries which I was excited about, and they were not overwhelmingly garlicky. If anything I would have been fine with a little more garlic. My girlfriend had the cheddar burger and sweet potato fries that we both enjoyed greatly. It was hard to pick a favorite among the food. The beers were also great - we had a banana bread beer that tasted quite how you'd want, and a sour beer that I was excited they had at all. Dessert was pretty good - a cheesecake covered with Nutella.
The location is pretty great - there is a music venue next door and we even saw a traveling band walk by outside. This is definitely a great place to go for burgers and beer.

Check this place out. The moment you walk in the door you will immediately be greeted by wonderful aromas and a friendly professional staff. The beer selection is fantastic, and they also have a decent wine list. The food is very tasty. The following is very important: PICKLES! Their pickles are full of amazing flavor and have an assertive crunch. The best pickles I've had in a restaurant. My family and I will definitely be back, and I strongly encourage you to check it out!
