The food was decent. I would order from Nathan's again. There's an area inside were you can sit, eat, and enjoy your food. Prices were as expected for the area. Nathan's reminds me of a semi-New York fast food restaurant. Service was pretty fast. It is located in a convenient area for those who are staying along the beach. Parking is available but limited.

“Beware” …..This is the worst place to eat! Need to be shut down! If I could give this place a negative 10 I would! The owner is rude and customer service is horrible! I paid for 10 wings and fries (over $18) and I only received 5 wings and some burnt fries with hair in it! Called in to let them know and the man on the phone stated that they put 10 wings in my bag!! An absolute lie! He then said there was not a wing in the house, then he said there was nothing that he could do because they were closing! I am disgusted with this level of service! It was lie after lie instead of giving me what I paid for.

Absolute disappointment! When we arrived at the speaker there were three cars ahead of us. After about five minutes, the person working the speaker told us to pull to the window to order. Although we told the woman that we will be there once the other cars have finished ahead of us, we were then yelled at by FIVE different people over a 20 minute timeframe to pull to the window to place our order. We then had to repeat to each that there were there cars ahead of us with one currently waiting at the window. None of these now six workers were polite, welcoming or helpful! None of these six workers even acknowledged us when explaining why we were still sitting at the speaker. We were blocked tightly between vehicles waiting in line or we would have left. After waiting even longer, one person from my vehicle decided he wanted to just go inside and order his food instead of waiting with everyone else in my car. When he explained to them how the speaker situation was going they told him he would need to wait in the car as well to order. Several others went inside and ordered their food while we continued to wait in line in my car. I don't understand why this was such an issue. Fast forward to actually getting to the window... The woman working the window was snippy and not at all friendly but we had waited so long at this point everyone was starving. She took our order one item at a time either having us repeat, asking a question, walking away or shutting the window between every single item. All of this and she still managed to put a combo instead of kids meal. I'm not sure she had a clue what she was actually doing and she certainly acted as if she couldn't understand anything being said. She finally gives me the total. After paying, she walked away before returning to ask if she should keep our change, which was nearly $9. Dumbfounded, we asked why. She then proceeds to explain that she needed it to pay for two shakes in our order. Ok, yes, this is fine but should have been explained first. The woman comes back to the window requesting $4.xx more for our shake order. So that is around $13 for two small shakes: vanilla and superman. There's no menu for these shakes so prices were never known but the fact that a watered down vanilla shake that had zero vanilla flavor costs $6.xx and a superman shake was only $3.xx blew my mind. We were so frustrated that we just pulled off because the reasoning for he vanilla costing more was that we wanted it in a combo. We actually ordered a different drink for the kids meal so that certainly doesn't make any sense. I will never eat at a Nathan's or Scoops again while on any vacation or trip. This was all around a terrible experience. The food, tasteless shakes and garbage customer service doesn't even deserve a one star rating.

The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced! I appalled. You would think after a year like we’ve had they would try to retain customers. I went in to order a hot dog and I wanted to order a margarita and the worker was so rude! He said no I’m not making anything. He was rude to his coworkers also. I walked out..this establishment does not deserve my money!

This was my first time eating at a Nathan's and the owner of this one needs to be ashamed. Spring Break week and only two workers, tables dirty with trays of trash on them, bread stale on hotdogs and chicken tenders so hard you can't taste the flavor and to top it off, the lady at the register didn't know the meaning
of customer service.

Don’t go here.
I have never left a negative review on a restaurant before but this is the one. I walked in and instantly smelled sewage coming from the bar in the left. Ordered the food and it was not good at all. The cheese on my chicken cheese sandwich was still cold and not melted. I was really hungry so I ate it but I only ate half of it, something felt really weird about it. I threw all of it up about 20 mins after. They also forgot an order of fries with one order.
Just keep walking, don’t go here.

My family was seeking the boardwalk experience on day on vacation when we decided to go to Nathan's Famous for a hot dog and ice cream. We had seen the negative reviews, but thought we would see for ourselves. The reviews were right. We didn't even hang around for ice cream.
First of all, the food isn't "bad". After all, hot dogs aren't the most complex of food choices. If you want a hot dog, you won't be disappointed with what is handed to you.
What is disappointing is the ambiance, service, and prices. When we walked in, we were greeted with a "What do you want?" from the cashier. She was not overly unfriendly. I'm just not accustomed to getting down to business without some type of greeting. When our food was delivered, the exchange was, again, without any cordiality. Our short meal was interrupted on 3 separate occasions by somewhat unfriendly disputes between staff and customers.
Then there are the prices. I dropped well over $30 on 5 plain hotdogs, a child drink, and 2 regular drinks. My family was able to have several very good meals in the area at a similar price point, adding to the disappointment of what might have been if I had only listened to the reviews.

My wife and I came to this establishment on our vacation. The setting is very nice and it was very clean. However, I do not believe that a hamburger, chicken fingers (3), two orders of fries, and two drinks were worth the $17 we spent. The french fries were not that delicious at all. I feel as though i could have gone to Steak N' Shake and gotten these meals cheaper.
