Small Town Coffee Roasters

Great first time visit! Purchased two cold brews for my wife and myself which were delicious! We chose the coffee ice cubes which is an absolutely brilliant option! The female employee on Saturday April 15th was the ideal employee: welcoming and friendly when we first walked in and polite throughout the entire experience. So many younger employees are just staring at their phones so often and it was great to see an employee who was eager to do her job and was a great representative for the company! We will definitely return and next time buy some coffee to brew at home, although we don’t think it’s possible to make it as good as in-store!

We stopped here for coffee while we were on vacation, and they had us coming back almost every day! Seriously, we went here 4-5 times on a 5 day trip. They roast the coffee in house, and have a surprisingly wide variety of roasts and blends. We tried various drinks, and they were all phenomenal. We bought a container of beans before heading home, and it has been delicious. Try this place if you haven't yet!

Strolling through Downtown Rutherford (-Tony, town?? Still confused) and stumbled on this gem just off main. Roasted in-house with several different roasts to choose from. Grab a cup of coffee, espresso, latte, or tea and take home some fresh roasted beans! Great service, deck outside to stop and enjoy, and the coffee was fantastic.

In town for a few days with one of my besties and her family. I needed a little me time and the coffee pot at the Air BnB had gone out sooooo this coffee drinker went looking for a good place to get some brew. There were a few options in Rutherfordton that came up on my search and I looked at pictures and reviews of each. But Small Town just looked like my kind of place. Best choice I could have made! Jay was excellent and aided me in my choice of order. I learned a little about the owner and the on-premises roasting of the coffee (which is so uncommon these days and very exciting to find in small town NC). Everything about the atmosphere and decor drew me in and was absolutely soothing. The music, colors, items for sale, and especially the little selection of books on one of the windowsills 🌺 I had a Tall macchiato with Mocha and Caramel syrup and a homemade peach scone. Literally the best macchiato and most delicious scone I have ever had in my life!! I'm still here for another day and a half so I will absolutely be back one more time before I go back to Florida 😁 P.S. accidentally turned on the motion photo, but lighting was good so font mind the slight video look 😉

I am blown away to find this incredible gem just moments off the main drag, tucked off to the side, cuddled up in my parking spot to walk into the incredible aromas of roasting coffee and an earl gray chocolate cake with lavender icing. I'M SORRY. WHAT. Yeah. I needed a 3pm pick-me-up and this place fit the bill so well it almost seems like it dropped outta heaven and onto the corner in "Ruffton." Between the fantastic cuppa to the unreal baked goods to the kindness in the service staff and wifi password, I can't WAIT until my next stop through town. #bulkingseason
