Grill Caliente

Ordered the pork tenderloin medallions with the perfectly grilled asparagus and the scrumptious mashed potatoes. Mahi mahi tacos were made with, what seemed to be, freshly made tortillas. Spinach salad with pomegranate dressing for me. What stood out the most was the chips from the chips and cheese dip. Seemed to be super fresh and addicting chips. Asked for salsa as well and was charged for chips and salsa despite only receiving additional salsa, which by the way was fire roasted. Dessert was definitely the highlight of the evening. Won’t be returning though.

Excellente! Was in town for a visit and the wife wanted some food with green chiles. We had the fried chiles as an appetizer and it really hit the spot. Crispy, good flavor, and super fresh! Good beer menu and customer service also. The evening we went there, showed up right after dinner service opened but had to put our name in for a reservation at 7:30. It was no issue for us; that being said, try to get a reservation.

First off this place's food was good. Could the service and menu be better? Absolutely. Our waitress was very sweet but only checked on us when we had to wave her down for a refill. The place is much smaller and it feels a little crammed. As far as the menu goes, I felt that the prices were fair but if you have a family of 5 like me expect to drop over 100.00 without dessert. Also they only have 2 dessert options which was a bummer but they were a good price. Overall, I liked it and I'll come back again. 😃

Always such a wonderful experience and incredible food. Staff is always so friendly & efficient. We recently had a horrible experience at another local restaurant with our friends for their 21st anniversary and ended up leaving before they even brought out the food. I immediately called Grill Caliente and spoke with Evelyn, she was so friendly and helpful. She told us to head her direction and she would have a table ready. Excellent customer service. Made a horrible night, wonderful with one phone call and great food.

Great stop, have driven by this place many times..now we are asking why we did not stop sooner. Nothing but good things to say. Seated quickly, wait staff were "On It"..very attentive. Never once did we run out of water/ iced Tea. Came by multiple times before our meal came out. Can't compliment the wait staff enough.. Food was great, one of the better meals we have experienced in Ruidoso. Lunch meals at least. Look forward to coming back here for dinner if lunch is indicative of what to expect..great place, will be back for sure.
