Do NOT eat here!!!!! 1 star is too much! Waited over an hour for food, got refills 1 time. Food came out cold and was not even done. The over medium eggs had the whites completely runny. The pancakes had to be cut with a knife bc they were so rubbery. The waitress was very nice and did apologize. She offered to have it all sent back, but we didn’t want to wait another hour. When my husband was checking out, she did tell the manager but he didn’t even acknowledge her and went on to ask if he was here for the baseball tournament. Horrible all around, do NOT recommend! $113 worth of the most disgusting food that was all left on the table to be thrown away.

My husband and I were placed third on a waiting list to be called for a table. We were told that we would receive a phone call when the table was ready. There were no seats inside or outside the store, so we decided to wait for the call in our car. Thirty minutes had passed, and we had never received a call. We entered the store again to ask the employee about our table. The manager stated, "I tried looking for you guys, (now) I had wondered what happened to you." I stated to the manager that we were told by the employee that he would call us. As I saw the waiting list in the employee's hand, the names BEFORE us and AFTER us were crossed out except OUR name (they skipped us). I had confronted the employee about it; he stated "Sometimes I mess up writing people's names so I have to cross them out." MADE NO SENSE since he crossed about FOUR to FIVE names AFTER. He also stated that sometimes they have to skip people's names to basically get others seated. Again made no sense. He then proceeded to give us coupons to compensate. Food was alright, my spoon looked dirty. The server stated "the water here makes it look like that" but our other silverware looked fine?? Consider other food choices guys.

Well, they were under staffed and didn't have everything on the menu. But they handled the customers really well. The food was really good. If we ever go back to Ruidoso, it's worth the stop.

Due to Covid the dine-in was closed so our food was take out. We ordered and waited in the car for them to take it out to us. Half hour went by and nothing. My sister went inside to see what was taking soo long. Turns out our food was waiting for us in the counter! We get to cabin and sure enough our food was already cold AND midway through my meal, there was a hair in my hamburger! Disgusting! From now on in our future Ruidoso visits, I won't step foot at this Denny's!
