Roystonian Restaurant

First time we have eaten here although the wife's family, about 20 people, used to eat here when they all would get together in the 60's/70's. The food is fantastic and the people are very friendly. I had the chicken livers and they were some of the best I have ever eaten. I also had the mashed potatoes, creamed corn, and lima beans. My bride had the roast beef with the same vegetables. Give yourself and your family/friends a treat and spend some quality time here. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so plan accordingly. We will be going back soon!

Their breakfast was great (I was by myself before work). Lunch was less than okay. Outrageous prices. Was charged $22 for two plates with one meat and two sides. The plates were less than half full like they didn't even want to serve us. Actually had a second woman reopen my finances plate to count the pieces of chicken in his chicken and rice. Tgey charged him for double meat. I promise you his plate wouldn't have fed a small child. The lady scopped under the chicken to only give him the rice. I have never seen such. I review numerous restaurants and businesses and very rarely give a bad review but if your in an interracial relationship stay far away from this one. The stares and looks we got the entire time was horrible. I mean come on its 2022. It was like they had never seen such. Apparently we stepped back into the 60s.
