South Flo Pizza

Ordered to go in store ona Wednesday. Overall the price was reasonable and the customer service was good. We ordered a pepperoni and supreme. The pizza is not what I prefer. The sauce is lacking in flavor and the combination of the cheeses is odd and does not compliment the pepperoni. The pepper trio on the supreme is awkwardly overpowering. The kids seemed to enjoy the pepperoni, so for them I would order again based on the value, however, I would not eat it.

South Flo Pizza took over the Sandwich Stacker section of the University HEB in Round Rock. Named after the San Antonio HEB location on South Flores (presumably the first location to get one), the thin crust, 16-inch pizza is made to order in about 10 minutes for $10. I picked up our first pizza without much expectation and was very impressed. Two days later, number 2 is on the way home. The South Flo pizza is NOTHING like the pre-made version sold previously. Come between 4-7 pm and enjoy the 'happy hour' special: 1 pizza and 2 pints of craft beer...still 10 bucks. Come and get it!

I probably shouldn't be writing this or the line will be out the door. Good pizza, freshly made are just two of the best ways I can think to describe it. Their 4-7 Happy Hour deal is hard to beat with a 16" large and 2 glasses of Texas made beer for $10. This is going to be a regular thing for us on D&D night.
