I was greeted quickly. The bacon here is crisp. The sausage for the breakfast tacos is ground, which I like. Love their tacos.

I ordered two tacos and before I even was finished the cashier was already looking for my money.......I wasn't done ordering yet......thank you very much......my grandmother made better frijoles, taco shack's tasted like they needed salt but they weren't all that good without it anyway........the chorizo was gross and was not chorizo......they should use Cacique chorizo it would probably be cheaper and at least they would be tasty.......they don't know the correct side to a tortilla.....if when you fold it in half and the tortilla falls apart then you need to fold it the other way as it will prevent splitting.....next time I'm going steak and shake!

Great service, and great breakfast tacos. I pulled up in the drive through and ordered thirty (yes, 30) tacos. I realize a polite person would call ahead or walk in to place a large order. They politely and professionally explained that it might be a few of minutes, and to pull up to a parking spot. Sure enough, in a couple of minutes they brought out the tacos very well packaged. The work crew was happy and fed. Great job Taco Shack!

I have been a long time fan of Taco Shack. Love the food! I have had a great experience at every Taco Shack I've been to in Austin. Then there's the Round Rock location. Been there several times and most of the time it's the same thing. Good food, bad attitude behind the counter. Not the whole staff mind you. Just the person taking my order. On the verge of not going to that location anymore. Still love the food though.

Tacos are pretty good, but the service is not good. I tried to call ahead and place a to-go order but they just let the phone ring without answering. Each time I’ve gone in, I have to stand awkwardly at the counter for a while before someone decides to come take my order. No greeting at all, the employees just look SO annoyed and it makes me uncomfortable. I’ve worked in food service- I don’t come during busy times and I don’t come during closing time so I’m not sure why they always have an attitude, maybe it’s a management problem? Next time I’ll go somewhere that actually wants to take my money.

A no frills taco place. Good food from a decent size menu. For breakfast, go with barbacoa or chorizo. You can mix it up almost any way you want. For lunch, taco salad is my favorite. The staff is nice and quick. Prices are great too. They close in the afternoon. Coffee is some of the better around.

Bought a bean and cheese taco and wasn't impressed. Sadly they were canned beans and non homemade tortillas. Taco Cabana has a better quality and taste as well as price. Really sad because I was hoping for a super good taco. Maybe their other tacos are better.

Mostly drive thru orders from what I could see from my visit this morning. Fast dine in service (I was the only one inside at 8 AM). Had the Burnet Rd breakfast burrito. It was served unseasoned, so I had to season it myself with salt and pepper. It was very bland without seasoning. I didn't notice any salsa anywhere but I may have overlooked it. Might be available if you ask for it, which I did not. Fair portion size but a tiny bit smaller than I expected for the price. I'd go back to try the place again when I'm in that area.
