Pacific Star has a home style feel to it that is family friendly. The staff is welcoming and engaging with their customers which is what keeps me coming back. The food is on par for mainly being fried fish, shrimp, and oysters. I had blackened snapper and enjoyed it. I haven't had everything on the menu but I like what I did have. Enjoy!

Pacific Star is one of our favorite go-to restaurants for seafood in Round Rock. Always get full and consistently yummy! The gumbo is AMAZING. Not too spicy, lots of flavor, and not skimpy on the shrimp! The catfish is seasoned well and fried to perfection. I get the filet and my Mother-In-Law gets the whole catfish. She's particular about her catfish and loved it. My husband has had Alaskan Salmon and Rainbow Trout before as well, and raves about both! Highly recommend this place. It may be little but its fiercely amazing!

My first visit did not leave a good impression. My daughter and I were looking for some good Catfish and this place has some good reviews so we were happy to give it a try. We walked in and were not really welcomed, just a head nod pointing out to pick a seat... Our order was taken pretty quick so that was good. I had a dozen oysters on the halfshell which were fresh and tasty although my beer I had with them was tepid and flat... Our catfish arrived to the table and was cooked to perfection, or so it seemed. The breading was crispy and golden but the fish inside was mushy and watery, I had two filets but only ate one, hush puppies were well browned but undercooked in the middle, fries were pretty good. Sorry to say but we probably won't be back.

I have been going to Pacific Star for probably 18 years. Way back when they were over off of 183 North. I've got to know everyone personally over the years and have always been very satisfied with the food, the service and the establishment itself. If I have family gatherings that's the place to go. Great Seafood, cold beer in frosted mugs and a great atmosphere. Always the best oysters in town. Highly recommended

Love this local restaurant. The seafood at Pacific Star is always very fresh, seasoned well and delicious! The service is great. For those concerned about social distancing, I have found that going later in the evening (about an hour before closing) the number of people in there is much lower. So you are not right up on the next table.

The food was average. The atmosphere was lacking. We weren't greeted and mostly forgotten about. The place was not crowded. The man that served us grabbed ketchup from someone else's table as they were eating instead of getting us our own condiment caddie. He didn't give bring us the cup of gumbo we ordered but luckily didn't charge us for it either. The catfish was crispy but not very tasty. I will seek other alternatives for my catfish fix.

This place has very good food. I had oysters that were delicious and super fresh! Wanted to try the crawfish etouffee but too full so I went for a catfish fillet. Some of the best tasting catfish I have had in years!! Would highly recommend to anyone who has a taste for some good seafood. Price is very reasonable and the food far surpasses the price. The staff is great. Great Round Rock Texas eatery!!
