Catered from this restaurant for my mother’s 60th birthday. Ordered Chicken fried rice, Egg rolls, Crab Rangoon, sweat and sour chicken. Everyone enjoyed the food. They were asking where did I order food cause it’s very good! Those egg rolls were gone so fast. Would definitely order food again!
Stressed to the restaurant that my son has a shellfish allergy, the still bagged my sons food with shrimp. Brian (mngr) ignored my concern and told me that I never ordered from the restaurant. BAD SERVICE! Furthermore, what would it benefit me to have shrimp fried rice bagged separately?!
Seems disingenuous to keep this listing when this location is in a different location, under a new name. If you are pushing a new name, you should make your new brand and not appear part of silver lake especially if it happened back in Aug 2021.
I must say we have been ordering from Silverlake for over 15 years. It is the best Chinese food in the western suburbs. It seems to have gotten even better when they opened 5 Spice Kitchen. We order mostly delivery. Did a catering order for a party. The food is always delicious and right temperature
We were very impressed with the portion sizes of meals, quality of food, and large menu variety. This is a good choice for someone looking to try somewhere new. We would definitely return.
The Manager BRIAN IS HONESTLY THE BIGGEST MISTAKE to this business.

Just ordered lunch of chicken and pea pods. It was good. Not great but good. I think they are afraid of spices here now. The appetizer of BBQ pork on the other hand was not good. Full of fat that gets hidden in the sauce. It's a little surprise every piece you eat if it's going to cause a gag
