We went to the Jerusalem Express that is downtown. The restaurant itself was nice and modern. I love the marble countertops with the subway tiles. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. We had just missed the lunch rush. The menu wasn't very easy to see at first or read especially if your are short or like myself in a wheelchair. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the Chicken Kabob combo and my honey had the Philly Cheese steak combo. The little cheesecake bites were very good! The staff were nice and willing to help us since it was our first time there. The time I waited for the chicken was so worth it. We would definitely go back!

Very fresh food! The gyro was so good! I would eat another one if I was ever back in the area for work. Very reasonably priced. I sat outside it was such a gorgeous day. Definitely make this a must while in Rome.

This place is pretty good. Pretty much the same as Jerusalem Grille--their parent restaurant. The space is nice and open, with a good amount of seating. I enjoy their combo deals, since they give good food for the price. My one regret is that I can't say their sweet tea is good. It's just not. It grieves my heart greatly. But alas, Dr. Pepper will do just fine.

The food is fantastic and always consistent! The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, and you can't go wrong on the menu. So happy Jerusalem Grill has moved downtown.

This place has another location within a few miles, so I'm not 100% sure what the end game is here. THAT SAID, it's still good food, super fresh ingredients, carefully made, and served fast. The newly renovated classic Partridge location turned out beautifully. I'll def be back, but I do hope they bring over more menu items from the original location before I get there. Like, baba ganoush? 😉

Visiting Rome, Ga, after much time away. My Granny's funeral brought my siblings and I back after a long distance a part. It also happens to have been my father's birthday, and we were haunting Broad Street when we came across the Jerusalem Express. I've been in South Florida for ages and ages and have a half-Syrian Trini boyfriend, so Jerusalem Grill sounded good to us. I'm used to good Arabic offerings, and Jerusalem Grill truly delivered. I also have a thyroid condition and my father has lupus, so we have been avoiding breads. Taylor at the register was SUPER helpful on offering us the gluten free option of cucumbers as dip for the AMAZING chicken and hummus platter. Extremely knowledgable and passionate about the food he had to offer, he did a great job selling us some delectable food. My father also got the falafels - fried hummus balls. WONDERFUL. Clarissa was an amazing server, as well, eager to please and super hospitable regarding a PHENOMENAL offering of complementary baclava. SOOO GOOD. The funniest part was that my sister, her husband, and their two kids also happened to show up right after us, completely unbeknownst to us. They had the lamb shwarma (sp?) salad and other fixings, and even the kids were into them. They'd flown in from LA and have discerning tastes, and they just kept wishing LA had a place like Jerusalem Express by them. Thank you guys, so much, for making our time special! The place had a good few people in it, but I know that they deserve a lot more. That, and for someone with autoimmune issues, the food made me feel soooo goood. Healthy and happy are we! Thank you, all!!!
