Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Great BBQ! Did their curbside takeout via the app today during social distancing. Supporting local businesses and franchises anytime we go out. They did a great job! Very well covered and safe measures (felt fine). Great tasting food and an awesome deal right now. We got their Family Pack deal on sale right now (1 lb brisket, 1 lb pulled pork, baked beans, slaw, potato salad, 6 rolls and their awesome sauce). It was packaged great. Meat was very good and not stingy (just over 1lb each, just like we paid for). Rolls were fresh and hot (everything was). See our included pictures of the food (it was brought to our car in two bags). Very happy, great job guys!

I’m doing 5 for the manger because my fiancé’s order was completely wrong and when she called to talk to the manager, Monique, she was incredibly kind. We are in a semi so we couldn’t go to get her things that were missing and Monique came TO US in her personal car to give my fiancé a completely new order of what she got, she gave us coupons for another time, desserts, and extra drinks. She was AMAZING.

Spent $70 would have been $85 with out the fathers day promo. We placed the order lastnight for 7:30pm pick up today. It took 20-30 minutes for the order to finally be ready. All of the sliced brisket was completely full of fat throughout the middle of the slices. We did not recieve 2 of our sides. We were missing barbecue sauces. Even the pecan pie that I hoped would save the meal was terrible. We should have just gone to Soulmans like we planned but the fathers day deal lured us in. Even the kids were excited for the dinosaur nuggets as advertised on the the website but that was not what we recieved.

In the past I've had great service from Dickey's in Dallas, Rockwall location I was very disappointed. I place order on Friday for a delivery for some important clients and guess what I never received it, I called for them to tell me they don't have any extra drivers we need to pick it up. Very unprofessional.

They have good food, but they have horrible customer service! There is always someone that is very rude here. Not sure of the workers name but everytime I come in there a male with a mustache who gives me and my girlfriend an attitude. We live here in rockwall and avoid this dickey's BBQ because of the customer service. Ice cream machine always out of order.

We got there famous box lunch and a dinner.. Ok the sides of question because the potatoe salad taste just like the pre maid from Wal-Mart and the baked beans tasted exactly like the pork n beans out of a can.. I think the dinner roll was a biscuit reshaped. Now for the ribs.. Average for ribs cooked or baked in water. Still looking for the smoke house flavor and the sauce is a vinegar base.. Based on cost it would have to be the only place open before I would eat here again..
