Very good, casual, mexican food, with fun music and quick service here. Good for a quick dinner out in a fun, extremely casual spot. Tacos were excellent. Guacamole also excellent, and the waiter was accommodating, adding chopped jalapeños to the Guacamole on request.
Great food, friendly atmosphere and great service makes for a great time!! We loved it!
Great fajitas! The parking lot has limited spots but they weren't busy on the Thursday we went. The fajitas were great and had a nice serving of meat. I got a piña colada without alcohol and it was so incredibly smooth and tasty! The inside was fancier than expected and the bathroom was really nice. I'll definitely go again :D
There are so many good Mexican restaurants in MoCo, but this place has to be one of the best! This restaurant is not that big but it has enough tables and parking spaces. They also have outdoor seating available. I have been to this place several times and never had bad dishes from here. I highly recommend their steak fajitas and chicken pupusa. But my favorite dish was their chimichanga. It was really crispy outside and soft inside with so much flavors. Their staffs were super friendly and accommodating. The owner of the restaurant came to us just to check on us and answered any questions regarding the menu. They also have an extensive Mexican alcoholic beverages. I’m planning to visit this place again during their happy hour. If you love chimichanga, you have to visit this place! Highly recommended!
The Pupusas were not memorable but the Chicken burrito was fire 🔥! It has been a while since I have found a good burrito. They make them in the gigantic flour tortillas (as they should be). The flavor is wonderful! Really happy with this part of my meal and will be returning for more burritos in the future!
Salvadorian family owned tex-mex restaurant. Somewhat limited menu, but food is good. Tables dressed with white tablecloth and napkin-wrapped eating utensils. Atmosphere is conversation friendly. Rest room is clean. Outdoor eating area available.
The fajitas are delicious, packed and absolutely worth the bang for your buck. I was surprised in the quality of the fajitas and was shocked by the amount of meat that is served with your food, it brings me back to 2 years ago before big box names started skimping out on the food. The staff was lovely and this is a locally owned business so I 100% recommend it, it's so much better than Uncle Julios and Guapos! I will never go anywhere else again when I'm craving fajitas. There are a few different beans to choose from with a good side of guacamole, sour cream, pico and lettuce. The one downside that I noticed is that this place charges $3.50 for sour cream, which anything over $1 in my opinion is way too high. It makes you feel forced to order a dish with the sour cream just so you can have some.. we all know it's $2.50 for a pint so $3.50 for a scoop is way too much. This establishment does not offer queso so if that is what you are looking for then you are s.o.l. the onions and peppers were fragrant and perfectly cooked. The yuca was so crispy. Expect to get more meat for your dollar and pay less than those big stores. They serve free corn tortilla chips with food.
There were two workers in the front of the restaurant. Both seemed totally disinterested in the customers. They took my order and delivered my food, but otherwise played on their phones. The food was great, the service was not. I ordered the fajitas. They were great!
We had taco salads with shrimp and steak- very good! The kids loved the chicken quesadillas. And to top it off Mr. Ariel was so welcoming, I'll definitely have to come back and try some tequila (and the other food of course) with my new primo 😀
Went here for dinner with a few friends. Fajitas were amazing! I worked at a Mexican restaurant for over a decade that was renowned for their fajitas, and I can confidently say these were better. I’ve been to several Mexican/Salvadorian places in NOVA that have all been just meh. This place is worth the drive l, and I will be coming back! Guacamole was fresh. Margaritas were tasty. The service was fast and friendly!
Food was good and owner was nice. Tortillas were not small and not enough for the fajitas, so you unfortunately have to order more (which only come as a set of 3).
Salsa was outstanding, I'll be going back just for that.
We had a wonderful experience at this hidden jewel on Twinbrook Pkwy. The food was delicious and the customer service was great. We've never had an owner come out to see how our experience was going and if the food was tasty. It speaks volumes about the passion behind Los Primos Tex Mex & Grill. We'll definitely be back, and with that I'll let the pictures talk for themselves.
Food excellent you won't regret. Service on point. The owner and servers always checked up on us. Don't hesitate to come here. Enjoyed every bit of the food. And reasonably priced. Best in the Rockville area.
Highly favored restaurant. Food tremendous. I got the fried fish. The shrimp fantastic, flavorful. I was treated like family soon as I walked in. Love this place. Highly recommended.
