We had the California Roll and the Philadelphia Roll. The sushi was fresh and amazing. Tasted top tier.
I had the volcano Tonkotsu Ramen with extra egg and spicy sauce. It was AMAZING.
My daughter had the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen. She loved it and gave it a 5/5.

Great ramen every time. I typically ask them to make accommodations to the ramen since I’m pescatarian and it always goes very smoothly. Great place to come with friends/family!
Good food, good staff, good atmosphere.
The tonkatsu miso soup was slightly more soy sauce heavy than I imagined, the pork was well braised, maybe could’ve been a bit more tender but already generally fall apart tender.
Soba had a a few strands stuck together but the dashi dipping sauce was great.
The atmosphere is wow. How personal is greeting everybody and the food serving. It's just great.
Talking about the taste - It is great as well. If you are wondering whether to go for it or not - I would suggest to try it.
Service is friendly. As a party of two, we ordered two orders of sushi and Akira Ramen (regular and non-spicy). The sushi was prepared well. The ramen was good.

One of the best ramen places I have been! So worth it. We had the fry chicken, chashu buns, wontons and ramen!
Best ramen in DC ! The Akira ramen is a must ! So good with a lot of toppings and a delicious pork broth. The chachu buns are also really good and the meat is so tender. The chicken teriyaki arrived still boiling hot that gave it a really good smoked flavor. They also have great deals for the lunch.
I love this place. The service is amazing and the staff have a welcoming chant. Sometimes there might be a wait but it’s well worth it. I strongly recommend the takoyaki. Highly recommend.
PHENOMENAL!!! The best ramen I have had in a long time. Akira Volcano ramen was soooo good, with a nice balance of spicy and tonkatsu flavor. All the ingredients were perfectly done! You will not be disappointed! Sushi rolls were also on point!
Had the akira ramen! It was tasty, definitley wish the egg was a little warmer but overall decent!
