Silver Diner

I came here to celebrate my cousin leaving for the military and had to share with a large group. Elena made the service great and easy! Although large she was not overwhelmed and was able to keep up with all our orders in a timely manner. When you come ask for Elena!! The food also was fast and great!!

We got the Lumberjack breakfast and the caramel French toast . The Lumberjack breakfast was enough to share between the two of us . The potatoes seasoned just enough not too bland or over seasoned . The pork Bacon and sausage were very flavorful as well. The French toast was soft and sweet. The only thing is it needed a bit more caramel drizzle. Then lastly my delicious Oreo milkshake that completed this diner meal. Was very smooth and not too thick . The interior is very beautiful from the artwork down to the jukeboxes on the tables .

Silver diner really gives you all of the American experience you thought you should get. As European tourist we only have our view of an American diner as we have seen from the movies. How terrific it is to then discover that such a place actually exists! Not a place only for tourists but clearly enjoyed by locals as well. We had a great time, good food and the perfect shakes! Definitely recommended!

A great classic choice for your all American breakfast with healthy yet deliciously filling options sprinkled in as well! While this is what diners are usually known for, Silver Diner has shown me that diner food doesn’t always have to be about grease and quantity, and that tasty food can still be healthy and delicious! They have a very broad variety of foods and so many different things to choose from on the menu. You could go here 5 different times and order something completely different each time. I personally recommend their omelettes and milkshakes the most!

When looking on line for vegan - vegetarian friendly dining options we found the Rockville location only minutes from our hotel. Enthused by the vast menu and specific mention of veg friendly options we decided to check it out. From first impressions of the beautiful, stylish, and gleaming facade to the time we paid the check, not a moment of disappointment. Nice bonus to be able to sit outside on a perfect sunny day. The service was attentive and consistent, and of course no small detail that the food was awesome. Highly recommend the JUST egg & Beyond Meat tacos and the JUST eggs Benedict. The grits are delicious (even if you don’t add vegan cheese) and coffee is served in real size mugs.
