This is a place my mom told me about often. It was my first time here today. The lady at the front desk was friendly. Our waiter Eric was nice and checked on us. The bread in the basket was HEAVENLY!! it was so light like eating a cloud. the olive oil’s rich flavor complemented it perfectly. The calamari was nice, the sauce was spicy and suited it well. I had the Amore Panini. The bread was great, the prosciutto was flavorful and not so salty like some ive had before. My mother ordered Bronzini, her regular. She said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert I had the cherry gelato and god it was unlike any gelato i had before. It put Ben and Jerrys to SHAME!! The cherries were so juicy. My mother had the tiramisu. She says its well made and delicious. Overall it was a comfortable atmosphere and I would 100% return.

Amazing Italian restaurant from
Appetizers down to desserts! I ordered the branzino, a delightful white flaky fish that is so special when roasted whole and expertly taken off the bone. The calamari appetizer and clams left me wanting more! The flourless chocolate cake and cappuccino was the topping on the cake. Highly recommend!
Im an Italian visiting in the US, and generally when I’m outside of the country I avoid eating in Italian restaurants and prefer to enjoy local food. But my son wanted some pasta and so we decided to try this place out, and definitely found it above expectations. The pasta was cooked perfectly (for Italians this is a very important point), the quality of the products was definitely high and even the presentation of the dishes was pleasant. Their wine selection was also surprising and not overpriced as in other places. The service was also eccellente. Our waiter helped us throughout the entire meal.
They make suburban new york Italian restaurants with concrete...metaphorically speaking of course. The mob left these scenes the moment Sonny Corleone was machine-gunned at the toll booth. The food here would keep any restaurateur safe from a date with the fishes. Order whatever takes your fancy. It ain't cheap, but it's as real as...well...concrete.
Good vibes. Excellent service. Old world style and manners. Quality food. Nothing bad to say and it's consistently been this way for years. Great for a date, family event or dinner out with friends. Just all around a great spot. Forgot how nice it was and was reminded in this post pandemic world the beauty of a meal out on the town! Loved it thanks
We went for my birthday; and not only was the food amazing, the service was top-notch! We had a Caesar salad for two and a risotto ball for an appetizer. Both were very well made. My husband got a chicken parmesan, off the menu, and the cutlet was huge and wonderfully tender. The sauce was very good as well. I got the Orecchiette Pugliesi, which is ear pasta (cooked al dente), sausage, broccoli rabe, a few olives and garlic and oil. It was excellent! They brought me a brownie with whipped cream and ice cream for a birthday dessert (complimentary) and offered me a gift certificate for our next visit. Great place!
I wouldn't say it's pricey; the bill came to just over $100 and we did have drinks. It was worth every penny. They offer the same menu at cheaper prices for lunch. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months.
I highly recommend Dodici. It has a warm, cozy environment. Even though there were a a lot of people dining, I couldn't really hear the conversations of others. There is also a party room in the back.
Just had some al carte spaghetti and meatballs for lunch, they were AMAZING, can’t wait to go back. Thank you for the kind atmosphere.
My wife and I had dinner and it was delicious. My server Edgar was the nicest waiter, very informative and friendly. Staff was excellent as well. After being seated they brought out the bread basket and olive oil. Very crusty bread and oh so good. My wife had the Pollo Mattone which was tasty, juicy and one of the best chicken dishes she’s ever eaten. Dish came with escarole and fingerling potatoes (2) I had the Pollo Fontina but asked for the chicken cutlet instead of the chicken airway which had a small bone. My dish was a nice size and came with a few small potatoes and vegetables. Delicious would order again. Would recommend.
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. The food is off the hook. Their pasta dishes are so delish, my usual go to is the gnocchi or the mushroom pasta. We alway order apps on special and it is always a hard choice when you see the specials. This place does get very loud, and is slightly expensive. This is usually a date night or special occasion place for us. It doesn't hurt that we usually get a bottle of wine, apps, entree, and usually a specialty coffee and dessert! If you have never experienced zabaglione, this is your place to try it!
