China Buffet

My husband and I have eaten at many "China Buffet" restaurants before. We purposely searched for one in our travels last month. Do not ever eat at the Rockford, IL China Buffet. The entrees were not stocked well and many were completely empty. When we asked, they said that they could cook up any requests. What??? ... this is suppose to be a buffet. The items that were there were cold and dried out. Seemed like food had been sitting there a long time. The drinks were bad (flat soda) and very limited. Also, the drinks have usually been included in the meal at other China Buffet places, but they were not included here. Terrible, terrible experience. If we weren't so hungry and wanting to get back on the road quickly, we would have walked out. :( :( :(

I am not sure if this place is still there but if they are, and you are looking for a cheap buffet with good food, I would recommend going here. Although it is a Chinese buffet they offer a wide variety of different foods, and most of them taste great. They aren't perfect though, the place is kind of small and some of the food taste pretty bad.
