Cedar Rock Cafe

There are only 2 reasons I can't give this pace 5 stars. The first is that it's a little cramped inside, and the other is that the coffee here is... Not good. It's passable, especially if you like cream and sugar, but for a breakfast diner it really should be better. Everything else here was great! My omelette was huge, the ingredients were high quality, the bacon want overcooked. My friend enjoyed his Eggs Benedict and said the French toast was great, too. Friendly staff and quick service. Definitely go here if you're not offended by bad coffee. (I may be going back here in the future, so if it turns out I was wrong about the code then I'll raise the review to 5 stars.)

Food was good, service was very friendly. The portions were a bit weird though. Hubby got a standard 2eggs, bacon, hash browns and a pancake in place of toast. There was a small upcharge for the pancake which was fine but the rest of the portion size was kind of small for the price. I got a western style omelette that was good but was maybe 1 egg and about 2 pounds of filling, I would rather have more egg and half the filling. Chef did bring out a fun pancake for our two kids that he made a face on with fruit and whipped cream, they enjoyed that. Overall, we would go back for sure because the food and atmosphere was good. Oh, the pancakes are really good! They have a very nice vanilla flavor.
