Fresh fish counter for sushi and all round well prepared dishes.
Was my first visit to Rockaway on a short trip from London and my wife and I were very impressed.

Great combo roll for sharing with friends after a beach day. The rolls were tasty and the service good. The place is small but we were comfortable. The prices, compared to Manhattan, are really low.

They make the best avacado rolls! Their prices are very good too! The staff are always pleasant and friendly.
The staff there are so nice. We took a couple of the grandkids and the chef sent out an extra special roll. The rolls are always fresh and delicious. They also gave the kids extra candy at the end.

From the first sip of the Miso Soup, loaded with umami and not overloaded with salt, we knew we had a winner. We both went for the Lunch Boxes (11:00 AM - 5:00 PM); one Eel Teriyaki and one Beef Negimaki; both included Salad, Vegetables, Sushi, and Dumplings. Everything was superb, generous, but not overwhelming, portions. I noted that each had a different selection of vegetables, which showed an artistic choice of pairings.
We will be back when next we are in Far Rockaway.

We love O'Sake. Joyce is great as are all of the sushi chefs and servers. They food is phenomenal, always fresh.
It has been about 10 years since my first time trying O'Sake. I have not been dissatisfied at all. I have had thier many dishes and all are very good. The combo box with teriyaki chicken, rice, salad and California rolls is my favorite.

My wife and I love this place. It's the best sushi in Queens! I'm hooked on the New Years roll but the rest of the menu is amazing. You won't be disappointed.
Delicious food! We eat at the restaurant usually, we sometimes get delivery and the food is always fabulous. Fried Oysters, Pork Gyoza and Bento Boxes are our usual order. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh. The Sami selection is great! The restaurant is very cozy. It is a local family or couple friendly place. This is our go-to place for many years!
