Burger Knights

Popped in here for lunch to get out of the rain. We were met with a warm welcome and lovely atmosphere. They were accomodating to the needs of our party which included two babies. There were great vegan options for myself and a high variety of choices for us to all have food that took our fancy. Our server deserves recognition, he was called Daniel, he was wonderful and took a smashing picture of us all at the end too. Great experience, great place to eat!

Extensive menu, almost too big which made me concerned the food may not be all that great when trying to provide such a large choice, but I need not have worried. We had 4 different meals though with starters and dessert and they were all really good. We've also been for breakfast a year or so ago which was also good. Prices are what you'd expect for the location, certainly not cheap but a fair reflection or the location and quality of food. Staff were very friendly as well, so an all round excellent experience.

Last min change of plan and attended here, could not fault it! The service from Fola was impeccable so polite, helpful and attentive. Food was great, super tasty and very good value for money. Really good gluten free options, one of the best brownies I have had in a long time. Good atmosphere, would recommend this restaurant, total gem in Rochester.

From getting into the restaurant the welcome we were given was so friendly. Our waitress was so nice and helpful with any questions about the menu we had. She was so lovely. Our food when turned up it was really tasty and looked amazing. Would definitely come back and recommend anyone to give this lovely place a go. Price of the meal was fair.

Walked in and was greeted in a warm friendly manner, we were shown to a table and served promptly. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed out meal. However I was put out when it came to pay, that the "tip" was compulsory and at a fixed rate. I prefer to give the staff a tip directly and not pay the company. I was also put out by the fact the the toilet doors were clear glass and anyone walking past could see everything. No privacy what so ever! Please sort it out....

Admittedly my friends and I came to Rochester to eat at a different restaurant but we didn't book and couldn't get a table for our party of 8. One of our group had eaten at The Quills previously and I really wanted a burger so we thought we would try our luck. So with no booking we walked in and were warmly greeted by Sandra and the other staff who seated us with no trouble. The restaurant has a great decor and a nice atmosphere and the staff genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The service was excellent, the food was also very good! The menu had a great amount of choice without being overwhelming, and my wife who is a vegetarian also had enough of a selection of food options. I genuinely have no idea how I have missed eating at The Quills before now but I am looking forward to visiting again to try the rest of the menu! Many thanks from all of us 😁👍

We popped in here for a bite to eat before going to the candlelight concert at the curb exchange. Staff were attentive and engaging. We had a gluten free/dairy free person in our small group and our server helped with ensuring she was catered for. They have a folder that you check the menu against. Unfortunately she was brought a meal with cheese on it in error but it was swiftly sorted and the staff couldn't apologise enough.

We were a table of 10, 6 that were vegetarians and there was a good selection on the menu including drinks for all. The food was very nice. We did have an issue with one of the fajita dishes being too over cooked with some of it burnt but the staff were very quick to bring out a new one. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When they found out we were celebrating a birthday they brought out a dessert with a candle which was a very nice gesture. Would return here
