All I can say is just wow, what a hidden gem
A real cross between a lively high street bar and an up town classy restaurant
Love the idea of a beer garden with outside serving stations and function venue to hire out
Food was out of this world, smelt great, tasted amazing and the service was on point

Service was prompt but not rushed. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We visited the vaults briefly as there was a wedding party expected. Food was tasty and menu had a reasonable choice.

On a warm summer Bank Holiday Sunday eve, we had a few drinks and sat out in the garden area. DJ playing tunes, and everyone was having a lovely time. What more could you want?

Great pub with a good atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon, especially the large garden out back. The service however is poor, they do table service but never come around despite the many staff. Booking a table is recommended.

Excellent Sunday roast in a lovely atmosphere! My experience at the George Vaults is something that I want to suggest to those who decide to spend a day in this lovely town not far from London.
I ordered the Sunday roast Tris to taste all types of roasts available with the option of dairy-free! The dish was well-presented and delicious!

The food and serving was exceptional, kids menu was wonderful unique, the garden is absolutely gorgeous and it had an amazing, homy, atmosphere. Would 100% recommend to go and enjoy yourself, your friends and family together.

Went here in the evening for a drink and a dance. Busy but not uncomfortably busy. All ages there which was nice to see. Not my scene at all but the garden area was lovely. Loads of nice seats, heaters above you when it's cold, personal DJ and table service. Very friendly staff..would visit it in the day to see more of what it has to offer.

Was booked into the vaults room at 1pm, arrived early and was escorted to the nice, warm, relaxing marquee and had a nice glass of wine before our scheduled afternoon tea. Excellent service and plentiful food.
