I left a beautiful restaurant last night to have dessert with my husband at Sanders. We parked, put enough money in the meter to cover sitting down to eat a dessert. I got slush all over my suede boots. Walk into a place with NO WHERE to sit. I left fine dining dessert for a good ole Sanders dessert. I ordered a hot fudge sundae, my husband ordered nothing. I threw it in my freezer when I got home because I was too mad to eat!

The customer service was terrible. I had to ask for a napkin! When I got my ice cream I barely had a topping. I asked for more and they said I had to pay extra. It’s too bad they don’t give you what you pay and they’re rude about it because they have good ice cream!

Is my first time Im leaving a bad review for a place.This is all because of the terrible customer service. Everytime we go there cause we love their ice cream the staff is so rude and they change the size of the portions ,however they feel or like … i guess !

This was more than just a quick stop for ice cream. As soon as I walked in my attention was gravitated by the selection of chocolates and desserts. There was so much to choose from.
I ended up being persuaded to buy two of their Pavilion Collection chocolates: the Cookies & Cream and the P'Nuttie Delights. The Cookies & Cream was so incredibly rich and it made we want to never buy any of the corporate style candy bars again. The P'Nuttie Delights did not last me more than five minutes.
I came here for the ice cream, and I was not going to let the chocolate get in my way. My usual type of ice cream default flavor is anything chocolate or peanut butter chocolate. But since I was already hooked on the Pavilion Collection, I decided to go for something different. A cherry ice cream waffle cone was my choice. It was good and sweet, but I wish it had a little more cherry pieces in it than it did.

After years of living overseas, I returned to Michigan and found this Sanders. For many like me, it must be a walk back into their childhood. The shop attendant was the most unenthusiastic possible and I never went back despite enjoying the ever famous bumpy cake.

Magnificent hot fudge! The candies are excellent as well. One of my favorite places to go anytime I'm in the area.
