My wife and I went to this place to eat today. I love Pho and fresh spring rolls and who doesn’t like chicken on a stick?! My wife got the Thai fried rice with beef.
This place is not your typical sit down restaurant. You order at the counter and then sit down. The person who took your order keeps track of you and brings out your food when it’s ready.
The food was quick, the employee was exceptional, and the food was awesome. I enjoyed it very much. I will return here for sure in the future.
We loved the food here! The portions are reasonable, food was fresh and amazingly delicious and the prices are fair. The fried foods were so crunchy and flavorful and dipping sauces were so heavenly we ordered more to take home. Everything was perfect. I have nothing but good things to say about all the dishes we tried. I would highly recommend others to check them out.
Khong Thai was so refreshing!
Loved their Thai tea and the larb gai. Dishes are portioned well, split between 4 people family style was more than enough food. Very fresh and seasoned well.

Delicious!!!! A friend and I went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! I have to eat gluten free so Thai is a go to of mine.
She ordered the Panang curry with tofu and I ordered the curry rice with chicken (both level 3 spice and it was spicy!) both gluten free!!!
The food was seasoned sooooo well! The salt was right and the taste was incredible! Some of the best curry in Rochester!!
I returned shortly and ordered takeout for my family. We got the pad Thai and other fried rice (Thai and pineapple fried rice). Honestly the pad Thai and other fried rice were not as good as the curries. Also ordered gluten free and had no reaction.
I also ordered the mussaman curry and Panay curry again, both incredible!!! The curries at Khong are their shining dishes!
Park might be a challenge when you go. There’s a small lot and street parking, but my friend and I were able to find parking no problem.
The restaurant is small, but they have table and bar seating. The service was friendly and timely.
I highly recommend ordering the curry and I can’t wait to try other items on the menu.
Quick service and delicious food! We got the Pad Thai with Chicken, Satay, Fried Vegetable Rolls, and Udon Noodles with Beef. Decent prices and large servings!
Their portions were big and delicious!! One of the best Red Thai Curries I have had, service was great! The restaurant has a very cute interior!
Delicious food!!! This is not really a sit down and be served type of restaurant. You order at the counter, then go find a seat and they bring it to you. No wait when we went, went on a week night. It was busy but we got a table. Food was so good, large portions too!
Best Thai food hands down that i've ever had! The service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with chicken Satay and veggie spring rolls with mango sauce. They were both cooked to perfection and absolutely delectable. We then got shrimp massaman curry and chicken massaman curry as the main dishes. This is the most flavorful curry I've ever had! I loved the presentation of it as well. I ordered a thai tea, and it tasted exactly how it was supposed to. I got a tom kha to go, and it was so refreshing. Phenomenal experience, and I will definitely be coming back multiple times.
We ate there for the first time today. Definitely the best Thai food in Rochester. We both had the Shrimp Dumpling soup that was beyond fantastic. Wife had the PD Thai noodles and I asked our server to recommend a dish and she suggested the cashew dish. OMG! It was a little spicy but taste was out of this world. They give so much food we took home more than what we ate. Definitely will be back again soon! Well done Khong!
My job had food from Khong delivered for a meeting. It was my first time having it and it was amazing. I had the Thai fried rice w/chicken and fried spring rolls. The food tasted so fresh and it did not leave me feeling stuffed and clunky. The accompanying sauces were all delicious as well. My wife and I then visited their establishment that weekend. The food was just as delicious as the first time. Even more so, the customer service was top notch. The dining area is small, but very cozy, clean and aesthetically appealing. We’ve definitely found our go to spot for Thai food.
