Soho Bagel Cafe

I'm in here at least once or twice a month for bagels and always had a good experience. Love their selection and they are always fresh and usually warm most of the time. Staff is friendly and the service is quick. And if you didn't know on Tuesdays there is a special for a half dozen of bagels with a tub of cream cheese for 10 bucks. Can't beat that. The in house cream cheese is also very airy and smooth. I'm a big fan of that rather than the dense kind. Sandwiches made to order. Lots of coffee options as they have a professional espresso machine. Plenty of seating for dining in. Best bagels you'll find on the west side of town for sure.

Truly love this place! Some of the best bagels I've ever had and I used to work at a competitor's bagel shop and still prefer these over theirs. My favorite is a jalapeno cheddar but they also have a chonga (cheese,onion,garlic) which is divine as well. A big mouth sandwich will get you two eggs extra meat and extra cheese on whatever bagel you prefer a classic breakfast sandwich is one egg two slices of meat and one slice of cheese. They also have specialty sandwiches for lunches like Philly cheesesteak which is extremely popular and chicken sandwiches that rival even the best gastropub. If you look in your local flavor magazine they currently have coupons as well so you can try them for a discounted price.

Haven't had a bagel in years and stopped earlier this week at the "chain" shop. Plain Bagel with cream cheese was mediocre and expensive. Decided to stop at Soho this morning. What a HUGE difference! Plain bagel with fruited cream cheese - DELICIOUS - the absolute best I have had in many, many years! And the cost was significant lower! I will definitely be stopping more often and supporting a local business!

So GOOD! I needed something filling and fresh that would hold me over for the entire day. With some assistance I ordered the Village Veggie (multigrain honey bagel, garden vegetable cream cheese, & all the veggies) and added Turkey “To-Go”. I believe it was the owner, who cautioned me not to eat it in the car because it would be a mess. He was correct but it was worth the wait! The bagel was perfect in texture! Yum! Being from NC and traveling solo, it can be difficult walking into unknown places especially when trying to sick to non-chain restaurants. But I’m so glad I did! The only thing that could’ve been better about my visit to Soho bagels, would have been to eat in. The place is cozy and inviting. If my work gives me the opportunity to Visit Rochester again, I will definitely be back.!
