Stopped after the 2023 St. Patricks parade with friends from the area. Super cool little place with a great selection of beers to try. We had flights, pints, and great conversations hanging out at Iron Tug. Staff was excellent and attentive. Good crowd from parade traffic, but still comfortable and could hear each other talk. While touring breweries in the area, definitely add this stop.
Had some good beers, the service was great. The area it's in is really cool, lots of food nearby.
My husband and I happened upon Iron Tug when celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary, June 10th. We like craft beers, and had never been here. We will definitely be back! The beers are good, service was phenomenal, and the owners are great. Reccomend a stop by if you like craft beer.
Nice variety of beers with seating on the sidewalk
Bartender was very friendly & personable. Great selection of sours + yummy pretzels = a win in my book!
Great location, friendly staff and perfect outdoor seating. I had their cherry cobbler sour - balanced, fruit forward with a nice wheat finish. I’d come back!
Iron tug is one of my favorite craft breweries in Rochester. The quality of the beer is excellent and the the service, atmosphere and theming are great. Moving to Park was an all around win for the patrons and hopefully the brewers. Greater accessibility to delicious brews! What's better than that?
Iron tug is legitimately my favorite brewery. I love sour and fruity beers- which they happen to specialize in. They use real fruit and you can taste it! The shore leave series is phenomenal. You can really taste the exact notes they mention no “ dark fruited sour” or unspecified flavors here! I also tend to not like IPAs however their Fathom Lines is one of the few I will happily drink. To top it off the staff are always a joy to talk to and the location is wonderful.
My husband and I went to Iron Tug for the first time. We love craft beer and their selection of fruit/sour beers were amazing, and they seemed to have something for everyone. Friendliest service ever! We appreciated the option for small pours so we could try a number of different types. Sours are all delicate and delicious- some of the best we've had. We had 6 or so small pours and the total was around $12. Very well priced. We'll absolutely be coming back! Love the outdoor seating as well.
Try the lager. Light and fruity. It reminds me of a very light Hefeweizen. Nice outdoor seating and lots of options for food that you can bring in.
