I can't recommend this place more. Great breakfast, at a great price.
Ended up trying this place since they were right down the street and ended up going on a weekly basis.
If you're in town, I HIGHLY recommend.
Always feels like coming home. The food is delicious. The owners are wondrous!
Ostensibly a Greek restaurant, the Morning Star's menu is more akin to a classic American diner with Greek food also scattered throughout. You can get omelettes, a Reuben sandwich, and Spanikopita all at once. My wife had an apple cinnamon French toast which was delicious, including big apple chunks

Super cute , homey, breakfast place. Cash only, and a basic menu of Greek foods and diner favorites that are really really well done. I included a picture of the bill to show how cheap it is. This will be a staple in my diner repertoire.
Good food and service. The specials are better than the regular menu. A hidden gem. Tasty Sunday Brunch choices. Great breakfast brunch specials on Saturday too.
Morningstar is a bit of a hidden gem in Rochester and one of a handful of Greek diners left around. The food is excellent and the service is very personable. Delicious breakfast food, well and thoroughly cooked and definitely with more quality than other breakfast places and diners in the area. Great owners and fast service. I wish they weren't limited to just cash payments only though. They would work well with grubhub and doordash if they offered it. D
Wait staff is wonderful, in fact charming. Food is quality diner type, but you always,know who s cooking with pride and experience. Nice plants... I d .call it a cafè diner with delicious home made desserts in a bright setting with plants.
This was the best experience I've had in a long time the service is oh so friendly,food is wonderful prices are decent. Cannot wait to take my family there as my visit was with friends. Will be eating there more often

A marvelous little place for breakfast or lunch. We stopped in after a noon concert at church. I had the tuna sandwich lunch special. Plentiful and pleasant. Wife had horiatiki (traditional Greek salad). Generous portion and great tasting. Adding to our regular stops during the week.
Here's a local neighborhood treasure. Great menu. One of the best salads I've had in town. It's a husband and wife team and the menu has many Greek dishes and the specials always sound interesting.
Literally the best veggie omelette I've ever had! You could tell the veggies we're fresh, and not from a can. So delicious! Really affordable and worth every penny!
best Greek people in Rochester friendly, great food, good price. Maria is so sweet! The Greek breakfast options are amazing, but even the Benedicts are awesome. Fresh fruit, good coffee, ALWAYS read the specials board. It is solid gold. Real Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts? a must.
We JUST discovered Morningstar!!! We definitely will be returning - yummy home made food and spotlessly clean. It was very apparent they have many regulars. Morningstar is on our favorites list!
Great place for breakfast! Delicious bacon. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Never miss going when I'm in town.
