Unter Biergarten

In my search of trying to find the best burger around, I've found this place to be at the top of the list. Amazing food all around, but I feel the burger and chicken sandwich here to be excellent. This place has a small group of really amazing staff, who are very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. This is honestly one of my favorite places to quickly stop into, especially on the way to see a film at The Little.

Friendly staff, bartender and server very attentive. Food was good - we had burger, fish sandwich, awesome Brussels sprouts and a soft pretzel with beer cheese (which was enough for 4). Only critique is it's kind of loud and brightly lit, so doesn't have much atmosphere inside for evening drink/dinner- the outdoor seating in "sunken" patio in nice weather is nice.

This place is so adorable. The food and the atmosphere is fantastic and the variety of drinks at the bar delicious. While I don't drink, my partner does and they were able to have samplers of all the drinks. They also had a wide variety of none alcoholic drinks and a delicious French press coffee to wrap up the night. We got the pretzel with fries and the Biergarten burger with tator tots, all with beer cheese and spicy mustard. Our waitress was very kind and even let us sit in the back near the fireplace. I would recommend that anyone in the area visit and try them out. Their outdoor seating was also beautiful with it's own fireplace (it was a little too chilly when we went so we choose to sit inside)

I got to drink the boot and that was pretty sweet. They have a great beer selection and the food was decent. We came during their anniversary party, but we're not a part of it so we missed out on the full menu and several tap options. Still was a good time and made me curious as to what their special event was all about.

I haven't had something I didn't like here. The pretzel with beer cheese and root beer mustard is ridiculously good and HUGE. The schnitzel is delicious. The wings are tasty. I tired the fish fry and was very pleasantly surprised- I am picky and don't like most but this one is a winner. Definitely recommend, just be patient because it seems like there's a staff shortage. Food is worth it though!

I love this place. The food is consistently delicious and it's not over priced. Service is also always excellent. I love the atmosphere and decor. The pretzel is fried which is different but makes it super crunchy on the outside and somewhat reminiscent of fried dough, but still very pretzely. I really like the mustard also and beer cheese sauce is good. I think this has become my favorite pretzel in Rochester! It's unfortunate that it doesn't seem too busy every time I visit, and I noticed they somewhat scaled back their menu. I hope this place makes it ! I always have a great experience, delicious food excellent cocktails friendly staff, not at all pretentious. Also the oysters.. they are fantastic!! Again my favorite in Rochester, I used to go to lento for oysters but I feel like they are much better here. Go. Get a beer a pretzel, oysters, a cocktail, Brussels sprouts, and anything else. Too bad they don't do scallops anymore they were excellent! Same with the duck!!
