Absolutely amazing!!!!
If you get a taco you can get it el jefe style….. it’s sooooo good!!!
The queso and the pice de gallo were so yummy as well as the chipotle ranch sauce. Cannot wait to come back!

One of my go to spots whenever in Roc!!! Every time the food, people, and drinks are AMAZE!!! Ask for Keri or Jaylan when at a table, and if at the bar all of the bartenders are fab - you can not go wrong going here!!!

Average experience and average food.
I came with a group of friends and setting up a reservation was really easy, I just called ahead and they send reminder and confirmation texts.
We ordered drinks, mocktails, a flights of chips, tacos, nachos, and the drunken shrimp bowl. We enjoyed our food but it was nothing spectacular.
The service was friendly but we had to be more proactive with questions, asking about gluten free options, and how to split the bill.
The place has a fun environment and a pretty big bar, but I’m not rushing back for the food.
Parking: there’s street parking, a paid lot right across the way, and a free lot down the street closer to the public market.

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner at Bitter Honey, and I have to tell you that it was one of the BEST decisions we made for the whole wedding weekend. The food and experience are still talked about months later! Right from the start, the staff welcomed us for even touring the space and considering them as an option. The booking process was seamless and the answer to just about every question was "yes." It couldn't have been more lovely, and this was before the event even started! We were setup for cocktail hour style snacks and cocktails before a sit down dinner in the back left area of the restaurant. Even though it is part of the main dining room, it felt so private and intimate. We were able to talk to everyone, get up and walk around, and the servers were ON TOP OF IT. Drinks were flowing and they even packed everything up for us to take leftovers when we had more than expected with guests who couldn't attend due to travel issues. It was just the perfect kick-off for my husband-to-be and I. Thank you, Bitter Honey! We are already planning the next event that we can hold with you, can't wait!

Excellent fresh Mexican food in a with a contemporary industrial vibe in a hundred year old building. The service, atmosphere and food was fantastic. Definitely recommended and we will be back. My only complaint is with the parking lot situation across the street. The lot was full and we had to pay to leave the lot for free parking in the Public Market just down the road. They offered a code to make that parking free, but not until we got in the building. It was only $3, but the principle was irritating.

We loved the atmosphere here! The flautas and loaded queso fries were delicious! However, I was not as impressed by my tacos. The fried chicken was a bit overcooked.

The food is this place taste Amazing. The flavor of each dish was on point. This place would of been 5 stars all the way but trouble with the bill forced me to place a 4 star instead of 5.

First time here, the food was excellent! I purchased the track platter, which you can choose 3 different kinds from a variety of selections. They were all delicious! The loaded nachos were out of this world. The drinks were excellent as well. I definitely will be going back.

Located just outside the Rochester Regional Farmers Market, this Mexican restaurant doesn't offer what you'd call "authentic" or "traditional" cuisine from the region. But I honestly don't care because both the food and atmosphere are fun! Indoor and outdoor seating is available right now. Focusing just on the tacos it can seem a bit pricey at $7 each. But once made into an entree of 3 tacos with a side of beans & rice it feels more reasonable. The beans & rice were okay but didn't bring much to the meal flavor wise. The first taco I tried was the Al Pastor: roasted pork, charred pineapple salsa, & cilantro. It was the most traditional one of the 3 and was pretty good. The pork was seasoned will but the pineapple got lost by the last bite. I was really excited to try the chef special called The Josh Allen: buttermilk fried chicken, hot honey sauce, blue cheese, and celery slaw. The flavors were fantastic but I wish the chicken breast they used wasn't so dry. My third taco was the Baja: beer battered cod, chipotle ranch, cabbage slaw, avocado, pickled red onion, and cilantro. Hands down the best one of the night. Light and crispy with all the other components working well together. Next time I think I might just order 3 of these and call it a night. Btw, the spicy margarita is legit. But when they ask you how spicy from 1 - 10 go with an 8 or higher. I asked for a 6 and regretted not going for more bite.
