One of my favorite places in Rochester. The food and service are always great. The falafel and hummus are really good. I love the chicken and beef pitas as well.

Manakish here is good, the chicken and beef shawarma here is quite ordinary.

Everything was delicious and so fresh! The employee who took our order was so kind and helpful explaining the different dishes to make sure we ordered the right thing. Great value, a lot of food for your dollar. The falafel are to die for- hand made and super fresh, I swear they were still steaming. I can't wait to go back!

Went to Rochester with a friend, we ended up eating lunch at PITA. I had the Chicken kabob sandwich. I was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The pita bread was grilled and so delicious. Would go back everyday if I lived closer, unfortunately I live 2 1/2 hrs away.

Edit: I've now gone here 7 times, and each time it's incredible. I've had every pita pocket, but one and every time, even after a 30 minute drive home, they are delicious. See you soon Pita! Decided to try something new for once, and my mind was blown. The chicken pita pocket was delicious, and the baklava didn't even make it home. I've definitely found a new lunch spot.

Delish, basic counter service, but good quality. Had lentil soup, moussaka, hummus, and sandwiches, but also vegan baklavah!!! Felt home made by family cook.

Just moved to the area and wanted a good authentic middle eastern spot because my parents were visiting. We all went and LOVED all of the food that we ordered. We pretty much ordered a bunch of different stuff and everything was delicious. Service was great, helpful and polite. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The Turkish coffee was great. Beef shawarma was my favorite and their hummus is phenomenal. Tabbouli salad was also fantastic. Can’t rave about it enough—this will absolutely be my go-to spot in Rochester! Can’t wait to come back.

I am a wheelchair user and was already frustrated before I got to the door because I saw a traffic cone blocking the sidewalk cutout, but upon approaching realized that I had plenty of room to get by and the cone was there to warn of the large crack it was covering. Then I saw a sign on the door with no threshold that said to use the next door that had a step. Before I got past the first door, a person who was ended up doing everything except cooking opened the door with no threshold and cleared a path for me. Throughout my visit, he was unbelievably aware and anticipatory of my needs even as the line of customers grew longer. His attentiveness was professional and not overwhelming of my space or autonomy and very much appreciated. The food was delicious. There were several gluten free options to choose from, though the menu is not marked that way and it is up to the patron to ask. The person working that day was very aware of ingredients, but I would be hesitant and/or overwhelmed if someone else were working. He accommodated my request to get a 1/2 order of falafel though it wasn’t on the menu which paired well with the lentil soup. Each entree had subtle flavors of cumin, coriander and other middle eastern spices that did not overwhelm or overpower. I was given take home containers without issue. My wife said that her gyro pita was delicious with all of the right notes of the flavors and textures she loves.
