Tandoor Of India

Tandoor is a really great all-you-can-eat restaurant. The buffet has about 10 hot Indian selections, plus rice, a soup, chutneys, and breads. They have pudding, sweet cheeses, and other Indian dessert items, plus ice cream. This food is truly delicious. The dinning room and bathrooms are very clean. The staff is friendly. If you like Indian food or just want to try it you should stop here. I always come at around noon on weekdays.

I go to Tandoor of India in Henrietta about once a week. There is usually no wait time for a table so you can get right in and not have to wait forever! I really appreciate this. Also a good place to go by yourself. I see several people coming in alone and eating and it is not uncomfortable for them. There is lots of room in main dinning room and does not feel tight or cramped. And when you are ready to leave, bring bill up to register and they check you out right away. No waiting for 15 minutes for waiter to cash you out! I soooo appreciate this. I cant stand waiting to pay the bill. Very good buffet. Food could be hotter but every buffet has this problem. I try to go as hungry as possible so skip breakfast if you can so you have more room for buffet lunch! I have gotten the buffet to go and reheat at home and it is very good. I have also frozen some of the to go food and it froze very well. They have a nice separate party room. It would be a delight to have a bridal shower or birthday party there. Women's bathroom nice and clean. Everything is clean. Wait staff very friendly. Bring the kids. Very accommodating to children. Nice big parking lot. Convenient to all the shopping in Henrietta. Come support a local restaurant instead of going to Olive Garden!!

This could be my favorite restaurant in Rochester. The buffet selection is excellent (for vegetarians/vegans especially), and every dish is authentic and delicious! Easily the best samosas I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and service is always five stars! I go to Tandoor as often as possible, whether it’s lunch, dinner, or take out 😋😋

The place is fantastic with great service. Everyone was so nice and polite when I went there. I would definitely come back due to the service and its cleanliness. Plus, the naan which I had was delicious and flavorful too. I only tried the lamb curry with yogurt, it was okay for me. So, I would like to come back and try other curry dishes with my loved ones in the future. I am looking forward to eating more yummy food from this restaurant.

Went here yesterday for lunch. This was my first time going here and I was very impressed. You can tel the food was fresh and recently prepared and I could definitely taste it. They had a good selection of different foods to try and I very pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food. I’m usually not a fan of going to buffets but I would definitely go back here again based on my first experience which was amazing.
