Drifters

Was in from out of town, along with another actor friend of mine (who is from NYC) and I was desperately looking for some place that was not only open on a Monday but that also had good food! Drifters was perfect! Even better, they have poutine (which is a slice of home for me, being Canadian)! We both enjoyed two different types of salad and the ambiance was fantastic. We had trouble finding the side entrance but called the restaurant and someone let us in through the front door. A smashing success! A wonderful evening. We were sat and had the place to ourselves and I was worried because of that, but people started filling in, soon thereafter! This is a place to go to!

I dined here several times during my conference weekend. My waitress Danielle was kind, thoughtful and someone who always made sure I was satisfied. She remembered what beverages I prefer, and was professional and friendly. It wasn't her fault that sometimes the food was pretty slow coming out. But it WAS a pretty busy weekend with this conference in town. The food was worth the wait!

Unexpectedly good food, especially the Buffalo Bleu Mac and Cheese. The bar tender was very accommodating when we tried to enter the wrong door. Service was good, although she was rushing us out at the end, even though there were other tables being sat. I think she was trying to cash out her tips and go home. It was annoying.

Excellent bartender. That alone would be worth the trip there. I enjoyed my food as well. Great BLT flat bread, chicken tenders and fries. Everything was very good. There was a l9t of l9cal beers on tap as well., I'd say five or six at least. Definitely worth stopping by and checking it out yourself.
