Roncone's - Rochester - Photo album

Though new ownership the atmosphere has lightened up and the food is out of this world. I had the chicken parmesan and it was nothing but excellent. The quantity was perfect and the sauce was excellent. I would highly recommend this place. The only reason for 4 stars is due to its location in the ci
The place is amazing, the service outstanding, the chef sincerely has the best menu and most outstanding dishes I have EVER had, even the presentation is impressive... in fact, GOD rest her soul, he beats both my VERY Italian grandmothers at every dish!!!! Very pleasant atmosphere and ambiance.
One of best Italian restaurants in Rochester !!! I love this place. Literally hands down my favorite place to eat.. they got really good pizza too! Good chicken French ! Love the bread and oil mixture before dinner... this place is amazing.. great service always :)
Best Tripe...Gnocchi... Calamari...Clams. Always a great experience. Great Service.
I used to eat here when I was younger and when the original owner sold it, I stopped going. It has gone through a few owners now and the current owners have revamped the menu, and changed the restaurant. They are now offering fresh baked bread, and other items baked in house. The sauce is phenomenal
Awesome Italian food! Veal is perfectly prepared! Owner is very personable! A lot of Rochester Police Officers eat at this location, which is usually indicative of great quality food in any city and more importantly for an area such as Lyell Ave. Plenty of seating inside.
Great Service! The food was tasty and plentiful. Angel treated me like I was the only one there, but not in a bored, hovering manner. The prices are great as well. Really a well run restaurant!
Don't get filled up on the fresh bread, dipping in the great artichoke sauce. Gnocchi's were like my mother-in-law made. Service was great. Get there early to beat the crowd.
I absolutely enjoyed dealing with the owner of Rocone's. We are a family owned music establishment in Greece. The gentleman stopped by American Music Centre to support local. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant. Great food selection at great prices!
Phenomenal, the best Italian in Rochester. Great service, excellent food, and cheap prices. This is what a restaurant should be. Try not to get stabbed on your way in and there's basically nowhere to park. Regardless, I love this place.
Absolutely one of the best places to go for authentic Italian food. Service is great, the food is even better. Great specials at a reasonable price. Will continue to go there and enjoy taking people with me
Very good eggplant parm. My wife had seafood fora Diablo which was very good also, but spicier until the waitress brought mild sauce to tame it down. Favorite Italian, that also had great pizza that we sampled (white pizza with artichokes) As good as any pizza we’ve had in the states or Italy.
Fast and friendly service. Nicole was our waitress and she was awesome! Food was great too! Ziti with pork was enough for lunch the next day. I'll definitely be back.
The best Italian food I've ever had in Rochester, hands down! I have never been disappointed and never left hungry!! Great portions at an unbeatable price.
Good Italian-American place with great service and reasonable prices. Has been around forever under various ownership. One of the last remnants of what used to be an Italian neighborhood a couple of generations ago. Limited hours lately but definitely worth supporting this place if you can.
The greens and beans with sausage is the best I have ever had. The Calamari was great, so was the Chicken Parmesan. I recommend this restaurant.
This was our first visit to Roncone's Italian Restaurant in Rochester, NY. Our hostess, Nancy, was a real sweetheart. She was honest & told us that they were short handed today & it would be a few minutes. Being retired with nothing else on today's schedule, I was fine with the very short wait. Our
