This fish fry was fine. It may have been better not as take out. The container may have taken some of the crispiness away. Not a lot of flavor to the fish but they do other several different sauces you can add. Although I requested slaw as a side I was given creamed corn instead. It was a bit sweet but okay in general. The mac and cheese was also good. The cornbread was not overly sweet and had a dry crumbly texture. I'm not sure if I'll get another fish fry here but I'm looking forward to trying some of the items on their menu.
My wife and I placed an order for pickup and upon getting the meal home, we discovered the most beautiful Fried Chicken we've ever seen and dove in and it tasted as good as it looked! As my wife just pointed out, their sign does not lie, they really do have the best fried chicken! They were very kind and courteous and fast! We will be making more trips back there just for the fried chicken!
Good service and friendly. Food was good and large portions. Decor is throw back. Take out area is a stop in and drop in.
Great food, cool decor. Try the sweet potato fries. Dine in is also open now. They have really tasty vegetarian options as well.
By far some of the best bbq in town. The food is always nice and fresh. Their sweet potatoes fries are some of the best I've ever had. They also have a great selection of sauces. The staff are always friendly but IBELIE is one of the best there. So I suggest if your looking for good drinks, great food and a nice atmosphere... this would be the place to check out.😊
Was visiting town and craved some good BBQ. The food was amazing and delicious. The staff was unbelievably kind and accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. One of our items were unavailable and they made sure we had something yummy to have instead. The people at Sticky Soul are incredibly hard workers and deserve much love and praise. Happy to meet the wonderful community of Rochester, and Sticky Soul was no different. Thank you for the fantastic experience and we hope to come back again.
We had a great experience here today! We were treated very well by the staff, going above and beyond for us. The food was all very good. I had the special - fried catfish, cheesy grits, and crayfish cream sauce. These are adventurous choices for me, and I really enjoyed them. I don't usually like grits, but those were so good! My Canadian husband had the poutine which had big melty cheese curds and just the right amount of gravy. Yum!
There’s nothing on this menu that isn’t perfect. You can taste the love and soul that goes into each dish, and the portions will leave you with the best leftovers. I haven’t personally been inside to order or eat but the food via delivery and pickup is consistent and fast! The burnt ends and cornbread are top tier, with the fried chicken in a close second. We love a local joint that is a staple when visiting Rochester

My friends and I stopped for lunch after church. I also brought my 10 yr old granddaughter. 3 of us got the $10 pulled pork sandwiches with a choice of a side. Great deal! Dawn and I opted for baked Mac and cheese. Paula got sweet potato fries with her sandwich. The sandwiches were dry and 2 of us requested extra BBQ sauce. It could've used more "soul slaw" on top. It was pretty sparse. Mac and cheese was delicious. Linda got the coconut curry haddock fish fry that looked so pretty with all the fresh colored veggies and the curry sauce. Large portion also. She took half of it home 🙂. My granddaughter got 5 huge chicken wings that were supposed to have buffalo sauce but they just seems to have some kind of rub instead. I also ordered her 2 beef empanadas. She really liked the empanadas and she didn't say anything about the wings. Jessica got chicken bites and she enjoyed them. She is not a fan of BBQ.
I wanted the St Louis ribs but we were informed at the table there were none. Quite disappointed. But I highly recommend trying the place out.
Listen!! I just moved from the south a month ago and I have been looking for a BBQ place since I got here!! When I tell you we have eaten here twice already and have not been disappointed once! The ribs were delicious, my son loved the pork sandwich, the collards perfectly seasoned, the BBQ chicken tender, juicy, grilled to perfection, and that CORN!! I don’t know what they put in that corn, but my son and I fought over it and he doesn’t like corn!! Oh and my son said the fried chicken was seasoned good and so good! Very very good food! I can’t wait to try something else there!!
