Little Bohemia Restaurant

Food was ok. Bland. Roast duck was cooked well, but wasn't seasoned. My hubby's ribs and chicken were good though. Very moist. Soup was nice and light, but mashed potatoes tasted like there was something sour in them and green beans looked like they were canned. Strawberry turnover desert was delish, but the apricot kolachki was very dry and had salty parts.

Delicious! Been going there for about 40 years now. ( Although it changed owners, the food remained the same.) My parents used to take us as kids. It's a tiny place, not much bigger then a modern living room, but the food and portions are great. The breaded pork tenderloin meal is my favorite. For $9.25 you get soup, bread and crackers basket, 2 breaded tenderloins, (dumplings, potato or vegetable)and sour kraut or cabbage, and a dessert to top the meal off (jello, kolaczki, pound cake or such)

Went there once, don't plan on going back. Food isn't bad but the service is lacking. Since my order came with cabbage and I don't like cabbage, I asked to get something in place of it. It seemed like a reasonable request but the server was almost at a loss for words when I asked. I asked for soup and got the wrong one. The guy with the water pitcher kept spilling water on the table. The server acted friendly but she was not very good. Granted there were other people, but there couldn't have been more than 11 customers in the place. I was afraid ask for anything else in fear it would be wrong too.

A small Ethnic Central European Restaurant with a limited but decent Menu. Great Roast Duck, Good pork choices. Lunch choices are mediocure but good. I ordered a Smoked Butt Sandwich. Received 2 slices of excellent Bohemian Rye Bread, 3 slices of tasty Smoked Butt, fresh horseradish, a couple small tomato slices & lettuce. The odd thing is if one desires a more substantial meal besides just a sandwich; it can be had with a scoop of mashed potatoes, gravy & a veggie ,such as sweet/sour cabbage ( my excellent choice). Desserts are extra unless a full meal is ordered. Only limited on the street parking is available & weekends are often crowded. Great Coffee!!!

Breaded pork tenderloin and perch were spoiled, smelled fishy an tasted funny. Chicken soup was sour, definietly frozen too long. How can you ruin the mash potatoes? Is it so difficult to make it daily? Tasted like they were sitting around for week in a room temperature. I'm a nice person but this visit spoiled my appetite for the rest of the day and my little son had stomach ache...
