South Fork Cafe

We had the Friday fish fry and it was delicious! My husband and I had cod, and my mother-in-law had perch, (which was a real treat for her! You rarely get perch at a restaurant fish fry) and we all shared both-very tasty! Mashed potatoes (waffle fries for the hubby) and coleslaw made for a very yummy dinner!! We definitely recommend The Table on Main if you want good, home cooked meals, served in a friendly, cheerful atmosphere!! ❤️🌼

Food was average. We had stir fry, the chicken breast was dry and rubbery. The veggies were good. Price was somewhat high, but in line with everything in our economy right now. I ordered iced tea with lemon wedge, but got water with lemon. The waitress asked how our food was only seconds after it was set in front of us, so we had barely gotten a chance to even look at it. She never returned to follow up. We sat for quite a long time waiting on her return as we were interested in a slice of pie for dessert. The pie was fantastic! Worth the wait! The rhubarb was delicious! Tart and sweet. Crust was flaky, not thick and dry. The Heath bar pie was also wonderful. Very rich, but that's what you want! Homemade, delicious. I'd say if you want a delicious treat, heat here!

I've been in the restaurant industry, and when I go out to eat, I judge everyone and everything. Our family of 6 had the best service, and remember it doesn't matter who brings you food or drinks, people tip on service. The team player atmosphere was awesome. If any of the staff was having a bad day, you wouldn't have known. Smiles and positivity were in the air. Overall great experience. Keep up the good work staff.
