The food is always amazing. We got the Hawaiian roll (topped with chicken katsu) and Hearts on Fire roll. (actually really isn't that spicy) I highly recommend these. It is good but when you go to other places you will understand why 3 stars. For me it was too much rice plus some topping was not cut on sushi. Calamari was good experience. Miso soup was good. As well as salad.

Great selection of unique rolls, along with all of the standard Japanese fare. Prices are reasonable (one special roll is a meal!) and the staff are always friendly.

I'm quite certain Masumi opened in Ripon over 10 years ago. The many sushi and other menu selections are all delicious! The restaurant is clean and the staff very helpful. I will definitely done here again and again!

Last few pieces of my Modesto roll. Decent size roll, and tasted good but a little too much stuff on it- tomatoes, red onions, and walnuts especially didn't seem necessary to me. Had a spicy tuna roll as well which was tasty. Overall good meal!

The service is amazing; the staff are kind and attentive. The food is delicious and the portions are perfect, and definitely worth the money. It's not very expensive for the quality. Left happy and will absolutely be returning to try more of their extensive variety.

This is a very clean and family friendly place to get great sushi! My family and I really enjoyed the attentive and fast service. Would definitely come back again!
