Good food, great service, what more could you ask for!
Good food at a good price and old school atmosphere, the owner may be a little crazy but a lot of fun if you have a sense of humor went back the next day and will go back again. 3 in our party and all plates are empty and bellies are full.
Liz is extremely friend and the guy(didn’t get his name), I think he is the owner. He is very personable and funny.
The food is just as it says “GREAT HOME COOKED FOOD” every time I have work in Ripley this is my ONLY go to spot. If you’re in Ripley and you have not eaten here you’re missing out.

Good food and good service. They were really busy, that's always a good sign. They take the pandemic rules seriously and still manage to put a good meal in front of you for a reasonable price. I will go back for lunch or supper to try different stuff.

We had the opportunity to visit this establishment on 1/28/2020. On entering we were warmly greeted. The atmosphere was very homey, like walking into grandma's house. We were from Spencer, and had heard about this place from a friend. The service was impeccable (coffee cup was never empty), and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend the Downtowner to absolutely everyone. Thank you and you'll positively see us again.
