The atmosphere was casual and lively. The food was delicious, fresh, and there was a large variety of choices. The shrimp on the pan noodles and scechuan chicken were huge and cooked perfectly. Everyone at our table enjoyed the meal. The server was very helpful and was not overly obtrusive. I would eat here regularly if I lived in the area.

They have a big menu that I hardly ever use because I just love their sushi so much. We always get miso soup and edamame to start and then lots of sushi to share. The staff is so nice and welcoming. They all smile easily and make all the customers feel so comfortable. The restaurant has a classy and stylish feel, but not in a stuffy way. It is classy/modern, but relaxed. You just have to go and give it a try for yourself. I always have such a pleasant time.

The half price lunch sushi special is an excellent value for the price, served in a clean, nicely decorated venue. However, the waitress who's been there for a while, acts as if she's doing you a favor when taking your order. She acts completely put upon if you ask for a refill on water, and barely utters a response when you thank her for bringing you something. She seems to remember to her manners when bringing the check and trying to rush you out of an uncrowded restaurant. The sushi rolls, while fresh and delicious, are inconsistent in their measurement and presentation. If a person is willing to overlook oddly sized sushi rolls and unfriendly service, have at it and go to Wild Ginger :)

Food was great. My favorite sushi spot to go to. Definitely order the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. Service was fast although the waiters don't have the best English. I gave this place 4/5 stars however because their soda fountain tastes horrible and the sodas have no carbonation. I've visited this place several times and they never fix it

Huge sushi platter, so reasonable. Cheaper and more chic than all the other sushi places near-by. They have a TV for sport g event but it is hidden in a place where you only see it if you actually want to! Didn't detract from the meal, like TVs usually do. 👌👌

Amazing prices on basic rolls, and always has great service! The Christmas roll is great. I also highly recommend the tempura ice cream. This is easily one of my favorite spots in Ridgewood! Always a good time going to Wild Ginger

when i asked to take off one item of my sushi, because I'm allergic, the waitress went to talk with the owner and she started yelling at us, and he told us that they would charge us $1.50 each roll just to remove this item. Even when i said that there was no problem if the sushi would be smaller if they did that.

Great Asian cuisine! Their bento boxes may seem pricey at first glance but the amount of food you get is much worth the expense. Some of the best General Tso's chicken I've had in a long while along with delicious potstickers and Miso. Would recommend.
