Best burger I have had in a long time! Portions were so big I was not sure I could finish. All of that and excellent service, I will be sure to add this to my must stops when traveling down number 3 highway.

First time there for most in our party. We had a variety of dishes, all got great reviews. Portion sizes were LARGE, prices very reasonable. The waitress was a hard working woman, serving and doing some prep work. Definitely a must visit again was most remarked as we departed.

My husband’s scrambled eggs had bits of whatever was cooked in the pan earlier and his toast was drier than cardboard. Sausages were yummy and a good size. I had a piece of fried chicken - coating was bland and chicken was raw in spots. Our son thoroughly enjoyed his BLT and onion rings.

Friendly staff, good service, they were out of what we originally ordered, but gave us time to look through the menu and offered some substitutes as well. Seemed like pretty new staff. But with a bit of patience while they learn and they will do great! Great homemade burgers!!

i was super excited to try this place out for the first time as i always thought the place was cute. Anyway, we walk in at 12:10 and the waitress (while walking past us) says “can’t get breakfast” in a super rude tone of voice. Didn’t even try to say hi or hello, nothing of the sort. We left because not only did she assume - don’t know why she would - but we felt immediately attacked as soon as we walked in the door.
Also just want to point out that Skip the Dishes says they have all day breakfast and so does their website.

First time eating here, it looked nice from the outside but it wasn't. It took 40 min to get eggs and bacon and a hamburger. The Fries were over cooked and from where we were I could see the cook touch the bacon with her bare hands. Not wash and then touch the bun of my burger. While all of this the server seemed or not wonder why it took 40 minutes for our order.

For a small roadside restaurant you have really great food. Your fish and chips were awesome and such a huge portion. We will definitely be coming here again. Thank you for such a good dinner

Overpriced greasy eggs, bacon and sausage, an hour and fifteen minutes between ordering and eating, and a rude waitress, almost made 6 of us walk out.
From a local's perspective - I want to like this place, but I'm sorry to say Gateway is NOT a good representation of the high quality food or service that has become prevalent in Crystal Beach and Ridgeway. There are better, cheaper, higher quality breakfast/lunch spots within 5 minutes of this location.
