I get excellent food and service whenever I place an order! The owner knows who we are every time we call in an order just because of what we order. I love it. No complaints at all!
I've ordered from Hunan Wok several times before and it's always been consistently good food which was promptly prepared. Today my lunch of chicken egg foo young, shrimp fried rice plus a 4pc of general tso's wings was hot and tasted fresh. They didn't have the spice I was expecting but nonetheless the sauce was great! And the portions are plentiful at a value price$$. Love this place!
GREAT FOOD, FAST SERVICE!. This is a great place to eat. The food is good and can be prepared to your liking. The workers are friendly and the restaurant is kept very clean. This is one of my favorite places to eat.
Call in your order about 10 minutes before you leave. They'll have it ready by the time you get there. Never had an error in all my times ordering there.

Great Food. We called in our order. They were very pleasant on the phone and my husband said they were very friendly when he got there. Small place, kind of hard to find, but it is worth the search. We got the Beef with Garlic Sauce and Chicken Lo Mein dinner specials. Their dinner specials come with your entrée, shrimp fried rice, 2 cheese wontons, an egg roll, and a chicken wing. That's a lot of food. And it's really yummy. Definitely go see them!
BEST EVER!. This is the BEST place for awesome chinese food! I absolutely love this place. It is a very small place with limited dining; it's more like a take-out restaurant but you can dine there. Everything is cooked fresh to order. I have been coming to this place for 7 years now and it's truly awesome.
Very Good. My husband and I tried Hunan Wok for the first time tonight and are very pleased. We ordered steamed dumplings, hot and sour soup, an egg roll, and the small portions of the Singapore mei fun and pork low mien. All very good--especially the pork low mien. The portions are large, even for the "small". We will definitely eat here again.
This has been my favorite Chinese restaurant in Jackson for ten years! Every single time I call in an order the food is perfect- freshly prepared to order, hot, and delicious!!! The prices are great and any dinner special is enough to have left overs for lunch the next day. You have to try the cream cheese wontons; they are made with a little thinner wrapper so they are crispy but not too crunchy. Beef and broccoli and Sesame chicken dinner specials are awesome, but I think the beef lo mein is my favorite. This is the best take out restaurant in Jackson bar none!!!!
Great place for inexpensive grub, great flavor, and very friendly. Like previous post if you call enough times they will know your preferences. Gotta try the soups, lo mein, the fresh food talks for itself.

Great and CHEAP. Five bucks for lunch. And it's always good. It might not be how I want it EXACTLY but that's my fault, not theirs. They do have Mu Shoo Pork/Chicken/Etc which has always been great. That's shredded meat and various veggies that you wrap into a pancake.
You get plenty. Unlike Ding How which gives you very small portions and can be somewhat expensive. I do not particularly care for a few things I've tried from Hunan Wok as it tended to be smaller cuts of meat that are breaded and fried. I preferred mine to be larger. This was, specifically, a breaded pork dish. Maybe sweat and sour pork? While plentiful, I would have rather had larger slices of pork.
Lately I've been getting their steamed vegetables. There are options on top, but for 5 bucks you get the veggies, white rice, and an awesome brown sauce (gravy like sauce made from broth, corn starch, and oyster sauce). Their eggrolls are ludicrously good. No beef and black bean sauce but they do have szechuan beef, which is almost as good! Mongolian beef is also a good alternative, and their egg fu yung is the "pancake" style and can't be beat.

Awesome. Some of the best chinese takeout I've had in Jackson. They cook it quick and without any msg's. Definitely one of my main stops for chinese food. Love the Orange Chicken.
Great food. Good customer service. Prices are acceptable but higher than Chinese food restaurants in other parts of town. But all in all if you're in that area and want Chinese food they are worth trying.
Always gets order correct. Food is always hot and fresh when you receive it. It's pretty good. I have asked for no salt or oil, and they always honor that.
I don't feel bad for getting Chinese food on a non-cheat day, holding this bag to the car gave my biceps a nice little workout, this thing was like 30lbs of food 😆
We ordered a large general tso, small rib order, seafood delight, large wonton soup, comes with white or fried rice, we opted for fried. Got there in 15, food was ready and fresh! We barely made a dent, it's always a ton of food.
Love the food; this is my go to place when I want egg rolls, fried rice or teriyaki chicken. Love their dinner specials.

Human Wok has the BEST wings in Ridgeland. OMG first let's talk about the wings! They are whole wings fried to perfection. You can get a few as four wings or feed a whole team with 200 wings. They have every wing flavor combination you could possibly think of. But the honey wing with extra thick honey sauce will make you hurt yourself. Now, let's discuss their fried rice. This is the REAL stuff. No yellow rice here. The fry the rice on the grill just like at the hibachi restaurants. You may any protien you like to your fried rice. But shrimp is my favorite and the shrimp is always fresh too. The staff is very friendly and take your promptly. The food is made fresh in a kitchen you can see. Which is always nice. The dining room is clean and the restrooms are clean too. So it's okay to dine-in. They have a large flat screen tv so you can watch tv while you dine in if you like. But most people carryout their meals like I do.
Every on the menu is great... you cant go wrong here. So if you are looking for Chinese food in Ridgeland area Hunan Wok is the place to go!
My 4yr old loves their vegetable lo mein! My other 2 kids love the orange and sesame chicken.
Got the orange chicken and egg roll lunch special and it was fantastic. Will make this place a regular for lunch when I’m in town!
