I had the Tarragon Chicken Salad, it came with two sides. The chicken salad was just OK.
I love their sesame pasta. I have tried their shrimp and tunafish pasta as well. Really good. For a quick, inexpensive and healthy lunch -this is a good place to go. Get there early, there could be a long line, they are still fairly fast at service though.

Not only is this the best value in Richmond. Christophers undeniably has the greatest chicken salad ever! If you’re downtown around lunchtime you must pass by all the other food carts and treat yourself to this amazing lunch!

got chicken salad here on a recommendation (i'm generally not a big chicken salad fan) a few years ago and it is awesome. been getting the chicken salad with a side of fruit and cheese ever since. one of the best bangs for the buck around (note that it is cash only)
Great Tarragon Chicken Salad, tuna, seafood, pasta, and fruit selections! Very fast service and awesomely tasty lunch choices from this food cart, which is a franchise.
Best chicken salad EVER, and best value in town. The two gals near 8th and Main have been serving from that cart for YEARS, and I will drive from Chesterfield County into town just to get a lunch order from them.
Awesome food- always fresh with a fantastic selection! Reasonable prices and great service. I've been a customer since Christopher's first opened at 12th & Main in the mid 1980's & even though I don't work downtown anymore I drive back for the wonderfully delicious goodies as often as I can. Keep
It's a food truck, and they're popular, so there's gonna be a wait - you'll have to be okay with that. BUT... they get through customers quickly, they treat you like they've known you for years, the food is good and very reasonably priced. What more could you want?
Love this place. Wish they had a carryout on the off season. Good price. Have eaten at this place since the 90's.
I’m obsessed with the chicken salad. Even though I’ve been working from home, I drive into the city to get it on my lunch breaks. They just recently added the option of paying by credit card, so now it’s dangerously convenient
Just discovered these food carts today and got lunch from one on the corner of 11th and east main. Outstanding customer service and the food was SO good and super cheap!
