Stopped here today after a trip to nearby Dorey park, what a great restaurant, great food, service was excellent, wife wanted to go somewhere else but I convinced her to try this place, glad we did, Saturday was 20% off day, we paid less money for better food than local fast food place. This place
This is a nice restaurant if you're looking for Italian cuisine. The service is very good and the food is delicious and very affordable. It is handicap friendly and special seating is available. You can dine in, take out or use Grub Hub. Portobellas is closed on Mondays.
Great place, I get carry out pizza most of the time, always good. The few times I ate in the restaurant service was fantastic. Took my 90 year old parents and they both loved it. Our waitress was super good with them.
Went there for dinner with friends at 5:00 pm today. Once everyone is there and had our drink orders it took about twenty minutes for server to return to take meal order. 4 meals were brought pretty soon but the 5 th meal was about 20 mins later. Pretty nice size place beside a FoodLion so very easy to find. I got the white pizza , Small with spinach on one side . It was delicious honestly. No complaints and pretty decent size for a small pizza definitely will try something else here !
Awesome service and wow good food. Friendly greeting and ordered kids food right away slice of cheese for one and grilled chicken tenders and fries for the other . . . It showed up hot and kids loved it! Adults had chef salad and large cheese pizza . . . Both were super yummy! Tiramisu and cassatell

The food was absolutely fantastic fresh very large portions they had evening specials which I took advantage of only drawback was I had to eat in I don't normally eat that much food but I darn sure made an attempt to do that they spaghetti had a fresh dressing the food was good absolutely

I enjoyed going to this little local Italian restaurant. The servers treated my party with patience and kindness. I liked my food and got plenty especially considering the price.
Let's be real, it's the best Italian restaurant in the area. Yes, I've been to better places or had more authentic Italian, but when I crave Italian it's where I go in Varina. The food is good, the service is good, and the atmosphere is good... It's a good place.
One of the very few restaurants in Varina, but even without much competition, the quality and quantity of food is exceptional! 😋 Great pizza and the pasta dishes, you can tell are made from scratch. Service is quick and with a smile 😊!
Check them out next time you are passing thru on Rt 5.

Great food all around a must stop. We travel from Pittsburgh multiple times a year to trophy catfish and stay around Deep Bottom, very good food and super convenient.
