I go here any chance I get. Great burgers. The Patrick Henry is my favorite. Great drinks. Cool staff. Awesome atmosphere. What more can you ask for in a pub? The space is limited though so be prepared to be crowded but it’s worth it.
Was not expecting this to be such an amazing establishment, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is a phenomenal blend of modern themes and historical elements, and the food was surprisingly good with very creative ideas. Not to mention the beautiful backyard, featuring potentially the largest gingko tree in America and the cutest cat in Church Hill, Patty. I will absolutely be back at some point.
Loved my time here, great food and cool building. Biggest issue was that the bartender was high and dropped a plate of food due to the fact he was "out of it." However, the guy was fun to talk to and it did not significantly hamper the experience. Will be returning!
When I looked at the testing for "Atmosphere" I had to laugh. The is nothing posh, or fancy, or slick about Patrick Henry's. It's a tiny basement with exposed beams and visible wiring. Not the fashionable, open duct work kind of stuff. This is your basic working stuff. And that's not a bad description of Patrick Henry. - basic, working stuff. And it's glorious! A classic, hole in the wall style, neighborhood bar. Friendly staff, and regulars. Exactly the kind of place I've been looking for.
Only stopped for a drink, so no food rating. I'll fix that soon.
Cool bar with good deals and meeting place for local tours! Atmosphere is spectacular with an old town feel.
Unique! Parking was different, setting and atmosphere were different, the quality of service was very nice and the food was great. You will definitely get away from your strip mall ambience. Relax and enjoy.
I have not had a dine-in experience, but my takeout orders are always quick and delicious! The decor is cozy and welcoming. My only negative comment is that the music is a touch loud, making it difficult to talk over.
A good smaller pub with personality. You can sit at a bar or tables in a room next to the bar. There's also outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
I love this pub. Go downstairs. Get some food. Have some drinks. Chat with some people. You will have a good time.
Great classic dive bar. Bartenders are super friendly make you feel like a regular.
Food is good too. I'm not a celiac, but the cauliflower crust is top notch...good enough to order instead of the regular wheat crust. And toppings are yum.
Homemade ranch is a plus for all the fried foods and pizzas :)
Definitely a staple bar of Church Hill.
