Casa Del Barco - Canal Walk - Richmond - Photo album

Really nice looking, inside and out...and a great location next to the canal! Went for lunch and it was very delicious. There are a few cost items to note: no free chips and salsa like many restaurants, and the portions are normal meal sized, nothing hanging off each side of the plate. But that said
Pretty awesome location. Food and cocktails were a delight after a Sunday morning walk. We had the 3 amigos and fish tacos. Both delicious. Alex our server was very friendly and professional. The only problem I had with this establishment was the service fee. They are basically admitting that in or
This place is definitely very hip and fun! I will say it seems a tad overpriced BUT the food is great. It’s the first Mexican style restaurant I’ve gone to that didn’t bring chips and salsa to the table for free! Tip is already included but they’re very honest about letting you know that upfront and
My family and I kicked off the holidays w/ Tinsel & Tequila and everything was awesome! No one had a complaint about the food, service or drinks! You can't go wrong with the Empandas and the Avocado caesar salad! It was our 1st time, so the lack of parking was a surprise. Thankfully, the great exper
We had the chicken crunch burrito and chicken tacos. The shredded chicken was good in both and they have a bit of heat (not too much). Overall good dinner and cool atmosphere
We walked in on a Sunday afternoon for drinks and appetizers and practically had the place to ourselves. My family had come into town to surprise me for my birthday. I thought this would be a great place to just sit, talk, and enjoy some drinks and appetizers. And Casa Del Barco did not disappoin
I’m usually hesitant to go to any “mexican” restaurant outside of Mexico, New Mexico, Cali, Texas, & a few other states! BUTTTTTT…… LEMME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS ONE! The food & atmosphere, phenomenal 🤌🏼 We went around 5 or 6pm like right after HH.. :/ & it started getting busier & busier by the minute
During January 2023 after the recent launch of the brunch menu and service at Casa Del Barco, they were offering 50% off the entire menu for the first hour of service which got us interested enough to come back in. We had been several times for dinner a few years back but it had been a while. We we
I have eaten here a few times now, and will go back. The drinks are delicious especially the margaritas. Food is fresh and not greasy not all. Fajitas are sizzling, and chips are crispy . The service is a little slow but everyone was friendly.
the rice and bean bowl with the fajita chicken was absolutely amazing. the código anejo to sip on along side of it was even better. Amari the bartender is the literal best
Dog friendly patio!💗 I’ve come here twice, once with friend’s dogs, and once with mine. Both experiences were very sweet, delicious and accommodating. The pomegranate Tajin salt margarita is worth every penny.
We came in for a margarita and Javier & Amari made the best margaritas in the US. These tasted as if we were in Mexico. The queso has just enough of a kick to be perfect. I’ll definitely go to this place again
We stopped by to see if we could do a Tequila tasting, and Javier absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. He was engaging and knowledgeable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would recommend a Tequila tasting with Javier to anyone, even if you think that you don't like Tequila!
The restaurant is alone the canal walk. A lot of tourist spot near by. The mushroom taco is definitely not normally being seen on other Mexican restaurant. Give it a try you will like it.
Had a bit of a wait late on a Saturday afternoon and then got put in a corner booth with the table and benches in a fixed position with one side of the booth being extremely narrow. I am a pretty small person and it was tight even for me. Liked the chips and salsa even if they weren’t complimentary
