I'm from Houston, TX and this place lived up to everything I've heard. Brisket and Bbq was delicious and a very good bar selection if you're into bourbon and agave spirits. Service was awesome as they served me a sliced brisket sandwich just like TX. Only thing I would suggest is for a black pepper/
Really enjoyed the brisket sandwich. It was top quality! The dirty rice is a great companion to it with a unexpected kick. Cornbread was good but not great. Nice staff, good atmosphere. Would come back! Small parking lot but there is a lot of free street parking. Check it out.
I have been here about 5 times now since moving to Virginia in 2020. This place hands down has the best Texas style bbq outside of the state itself. Best BBQ I have ever had. The beef Dino rib was excellent. The 3 meat (brisket, pulled pork, sausage) sandwich was perfect, and the jalapeño Mac n cheese was awesome. If I come back to Richmond, I for sure will he back.

Great bbq. We got the brisket, sausage, pulled pork, Texas caviar, Mac and cheese and beans with pickles and pickled onions. Everything was spot on. It just needed the soft serve ice cream machine.
